We've designed each treatment room to reflect the Traditional Chinese Medicine Elements which correspond to the following organ systems:

🔵BLUE ROOM = Water Element (Kidney/Bladder)
🟡YELLOW ROOM = Earth Element (Stomach/Spleen)

☯ Electro-Acupuncture & Fibromyalgia ☯

☯ Fibromyalgia is defined as a long-term condition that causes widespread pain, fatigue, and increased sensitivity.
Pain in fibromyalgia may come from signals in the body and from how the brain processes those signals. A recent study tested how electroacupuncture, a form of acupuncture that uses gentle electrical pulses, affects these pain pathways.

☯ Electroacupuncture increased people’s tolerance to pressure pain and changed activity in sensory regions of the brain that detect and interpret pain. These brain changes were linked to reduced widespread pain, suggesting that pain relief after electroacupuncture begins in the body and then leads to changes in the brain.

☯ Electroacupuncture may therefore benefit people who are experiencing chronic pain due to fibromyalgia.

☯ If you or a loved one have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, consider acupuncture treatment to ease pain and compliment any other treatments given by your primary care physician or specialist!

🌿The postpartum period can be a wonderful time, alongside being very exhausting.

TCM states that the way a woman treats her body in the first days postpartum can affect her health for the rest of her life. Postpartum acupuncture and use of moxa (moxibustion), ideally five days after your birth, is an effective and gently powerful treatment, relied on to strengthen the new mother’s qi (our essential life source).

Conventional medicine acknowledges the benefits of postpartum acupuncture, and its role in supporting:

🌿Postpartum pain relief, such as back pain, perineal discomfort, pelvic pain, sciatic pain & C-section recovery

Here are a few natural remedies that can provide relief for seasonal allergy symptoms:

🌿Stinging Nettle Leaf -- Best for sneezing and itchy eyes.
🌿Quercetin -- A natural antihistamine that may help with asthma.

🌿March is National Kidney Month!🌿

To help support and nourish the kidneys, we recommend sufficient fluid intake as well as incorporating kidney nourishing foods into your diet such as apples, berries, leafy greens, black sesame, cauliflower, and sweet potatoes.

Screening for kidney health is crucial because the kidneys play a vital role in filtering toxins from the blood and regulating blood flow. Early detection through screening can help manage and potentially slow the progression of kidney disease.
