What is medical massage?
Medical massage is a form of therapy that aims to treat specific conditions. You do not need a doctor’s referral or a medical diagnosis to receive medical massage. Before your massage, we’ll talk about what your problem areas are, and I will address those during the treatment.
The biggest difference between medical massage and others is the intent. Rather than performing a generalized full body massage, I will spend extra time on areas that need extra attention. For some people, that looks like a treatment from the low back on up, to focus on back/shoulders/neck, rather than full body.
But every treatment is different and specific to the individual.

Hello, Miller!! 👋🏻
I’m Deanna Wolfe, owner of Wolfe Wellness Medical Massage, with a brand new location in downtown Miller, SD!
🤔Where did I come from??
My family and I recently moved to Miller from Madison, SD, to serve at Pleasant Valley Church. Before that, we lived in West Michigan.
🤔What in the world is medical massage??
Medical massage is a form of massage focused on treating a specific problem or condition. The massage is relaxing and promotes overall well-being, but the treatment is clinical and intentional.
🤔How do you know that I know what I’m talking about??
I’ve been practicing medical massage on and off for over 20 years. I was a massage instructor for 6 years and I strive to stay up to date on relevant anatomy and pathologies. Part of my role as a therapist is to teach you about your specific needs, and I aim to do so in a gentle, professional, and knowledgeable way.
I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have!

Hi friends! Here we are- less than two weeks left of work in Madison and every available appointment is booked! I am beyond grateful. 😌
