MAKE ME is back! 🖤🏳️‍⚧️

Our free community creative workshop series for trans and gender-diverse adults returns this fall!

Come connect, make stuff, and explore meaning through mindful creative practices like writing and collage. Make Me is intentionally low-key, neurodivergent-friendly, and confidential — a space to create, connect, and spend some time in community.

Make Me is facilitated by Ousia Moon, APSW, but this is a community event, not therapy or group therapy. No intake, no diagnosis, no therapy — just a welcoming space to show up and make something together.

All trans, non-binary, genderqueer, and questioning adults are welcome.

📅 Sundays: 9/20, 10/18 & 11/15
⏰ 11:00 AM–12:30 PM
📍 The Therapeutic Workshop | Bay View
💜 FREE — but space is limited and you MUST reserve your spot!

Scan the QR code or email Ousia at the address on the flyer to RSVP and reserve your space.

Come make something. Come meet some people. Come as you are.

Hi Friends, Amanda here! 👋 We are launching Craft Club at Creative Commons! 🎨✨
While I loved hosting themed workshops (like our upcoming Christmas in July night!), I want to transition to a space that isn’t tied to a single project. I want a space where we can simply gather and make.
What is Craft Club? A welcoming, low-pressure community studio hangout for adults to unwind, connect, and create.
The Vibe:
* BYOP (Bring Your Own Project): Knitting, sketching, mending, jewelry—if you can carry it, you can craft it!
* Shared Space: Come for the creative energy, stay for the supportive, relaxed community.
* The Fine Print: While I am an art therapist at TTW, please note Craft Club is not art therapy. It’s simply a relaxed, recreational space to create together.
Whether you’re a seasoned maker or haven’t crafted since middle school, there is a seat at the table for you.
✉️ How to register: Email me at [email protected] or scan the QR code to snag your spot.
👇 In the comments: What project are you bringing to the table first?

One of my favorite weeks of the year.

I come to Gen Con to see what’s new in tabletop gaming, learn from great game designers, watch incredibly talented GMs, and soak up ideas from the broader gaming community. Every year I leave with new inspiration—not just for game night, but for the TTRPG therapy groups we run at The Therapeutic Workshop.

This year I picked up a new indie game that I’m already hoping I can convince GM Mike to run for an upcoming SIS TTRPG Night. 👀

And while I couldn’t resist checking out the Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG, it doesn’t release until November, so that’s probably a 2027 therapy group. I have absolutely no idea which group will get to play it yet… but I’m already looking forward to finding out.

Until then, I’ll keep learning, keep playing, and keep stealing the best ideas from the tabletop community.

So great to see people come out, try something new, and connect with each other through creating!

Our latest Creative Commons gathering included stamp making, metal embossing, plenty of experimentation, and some genuinely wonderful finished pieces. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the space feel welcoming, playful, and creative.

There’s something special about growing something together.

Every Friday, our Common Ground Community Gardening Group gets outside, gets our hands dirty, and slows down long enough to connect—with nature, with each other, and sometimes with ourselves.

Today was a milestone: one of our members harvested and ate their very first vegetable fresh off the plant. 🌱🥕 There’s nothing quite like that moment.

Whether you’ve gardened for years or have never touched a trowel, there’s still room to join us.

🌿 Fridays throughout the summer and fall (and maybe beyond!)
🌿 Free community group
🌿 No gardening experience needed
🌿 Come as you are

Sometimes the best therapy isn’t therapy at all—it’s community, fresh air, and watching something grow.

We’d love to have you grow with us.
