We truly enjoyed connecting with the families, meeting so many wonderful people, and being surrounded by a community that continues to advocate, support, and celebrate individuals with autism.

A Place to Rest. A Place to Grow. A Place to Belong.
We are so excited to introduce Neurodiverse Haven, an upcoming overnight respite home created by SJs Friends Respite Center in partnership with Life Enhanced Counseling Services! 🌈
But this is more than just another respite program…

💙 IT WAS CREATED BY A MOM WHO GETS IT.
A mom of a child on the autism spectrum who understands the importance of finding people you can trust with your child.
A mom who understands the advocacy, the questions, the worries, and the need for real, meaningful respite.

Neurodiverse Haven is being created to provide children with a safe, supportive, home-like environment while giving caregivers the opportunity to rest, breathe, and recharge.

💼🏡 A Work-from-Home Opportunity Worth Sharing with Our SJs Friends Families

On just the 2nd day of school, several parents were met with difficulties finding care for their kids while they worked, so I wanted to share something that has personally made a BIG difference for me previously as a working parent.

Two companies I’ve personally found to be very understanding and flexible when it comes to balancing work and family responsibilities are Mutual of Omaha and Lincoln Financial Group.

As a parent, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to maintain employment while also managing appointments, unexpected situations, school needs, and those moments when you simply have to step away from work to take care of your child. ❤️

What I have appreciated about these companies is the understanding and flexibility they can provide. Having an employer that recognizes that life happens—and allows you some flexibility when you need to attend an appointment, handle something with your child, or step away when necessary—can make such a difference.

If you are a parent or caregiver looking for a work-from-home opportunity that may offer a better work-life balance, I definitely recommend checking out their current career opportunities.

🕑 Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
🗓️ Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
