🌼 Attention Edgewood Residents & Families! 🌼
Monday is Planting Day! 🌸🌿
We're excited to officially kick off our summer planting project with the help of the NDSU Master Gardeners!
Our planting adventure will begin at 10:00 AM in the Main Courtyard, where residents can help plant flowers and brighten our outdoor spaces. Once we finish there, we'll move over to Cookies Cottage Memory Care to continue the fun.
In the afternoon, we'll head to Memory Care South to complete the final phase of planting for the day.
A special thank you goes out to the volunteers from The Pursuit Church's City Serve Project, who helped move and prepare our raised garden beds earlier this week. Their hard work has set the stage for a beautiful summer!

Willie doesn’t come to Rock Steady Boxing because he’s training for a heavyweight title. He comes because he’s giving Parkinson’s a run for its money.

For Willie, every class is a commitment to keep moving. What started as an exercise program has become something much bigger: a community, a source of confidence, and a place where determination shows up again and again. The punches matter. The drills matter. But the real victory is showing up and refusing to let Parkinson’s define the next chapter.

Parkinson’s may have changed the fight, but for Willie, it doesn’t get the final round!

Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s is more than exercise it’s movement, connection, and community. Building strength, confidence, and support one round at a time.

🌱 A Huge Thank You to Ben and the City Serve Team from The Pursuit Church! 🌱
Today, this amazing group of volunteers rolled up their sleeves and helped us move and reposition several of our raised garden beds so our residents can enjoy more sunshine, better access, and even more beautiful flowers and vegetables this summer.
We are incredibly grateful for community partners like Ben and the City Serve crew who generously gave their time, energy, and strong backs to help make our outdoor spaces even better for the residents of Edgewood Minot.
These projects may seem simple, but they make a big difference in the daily lives of our residents, and we couldn't do it without the support of caring volunteers.
And we couldn't help but notice something in one of the photos... while a group of guys stood around thoughtfully supervising their shovels, one determined lady jumped right in and started moving dirt! 😄 We appreciate everyone's hard work, but we may have found the real foreman of the project!
Thank you again, City Serve and The Pursuit Church, for investing in our community and helping make Edgewood a place our residents are proud to call home. ❤️

Today at Edgewood, we pause to remember the heroes who never made it home. 🇺🇸
Our Missing Man Table serves as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by those who gave their lives for our freedom and for those still missing in action. Each item placed at the table carries special meaning and honors the courage, service, and sacrifice of America’s military heroes.
As Memorial Day approaches, may we never forget the cost of freedom and the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country. ❤️🤍💙
