MonTECH has multiple wearables for low vision. We've got META glasses, EchoVision glasses, OrCam MyEye, and eSight Go. But the Patriot ViewPoint continues to appeal to people. Patriot is an older device that magnifies near and far, changes contrast colors, and reads text aloud. Does it look a little goofy? Maybe. Do we care? Heck no!

Montanans can borrow it for free from MonTECH. MT-AT.org, [email protected]

Soundbeam is an award-winning, touch-free, assistive music-making system and we are ACHING for a school or organization to borrow it so students or clients with disabilities can participate in holiday concerts fully and creatively!

Here, Liz moves her hand over an invisible ultrasonic beam to make beautiful sounds. The large buttons on the table to her right are also programmed to play sounds, chords, or phrases at the touch of the button. Watch this three-minute video to learn more about Soundbeam (then contact us to check it out for a couple of months!): https://youtu.be/h0RvxEJjdZo?si=4_jTv3SaP1eqUwFX

Our team got to spend the day with Montana's School-affiliated OTs and PTs, a group of therapists who are extremely dedicated to expanding their knowledge base to best serve students with disabilities. We did a five-hour training and brought lots of stuff for them to explore. Mutually beneficial and a great day overall!
