Rabies is a fatal but preventable viral disease that can spread to people and
pets through the bite or scratch of an infected animal. The virus attacks the central nervous system and can cause severe brain disease and death. Because rabies is nearly always fatal once symptoms appear, timely preventive care is essential. Outdoor/ barn cats are at high risk due to frequent exposure to wildlife ( skunks, raccoons, bats, foxes, and coyotes).
Vaccinating them can help protect our other animals, themselves, and your family.
