What a great October planned, here is my 1st event posted and hosted by Beyond the Plunge.
With other great events coming up.
I'm really ready to share my story to the world about what I've been through
With this Healing Through Grief event.
Lots of people these days carry the heavy burden of grieving believing it's something to resist or it seems awkward when we are around people who have experienced a great deal of loss.... Whether it's a loss of a close loved one, loss of a reality they lived in for a while that is shifting in a major way.
For me it was great sorrow of not only losing 1 person but 3 people in less than a year, I want to share my struggles, my inner battles, my shattered heart, the way I went into wreck less mode instead of trying to emotionally sit with my Grief, I wanted to bury it in work, play, whatever would take my mind off of it. The sudden changes of each passing did something different to my nervous system every time. My body suffered, my nervous system was in constant survival mode, I stayed in constant panic, I ran to many things not seeing the damage that was done.
The tears I hadn't cried or processed.
This is what I want to share with you all. When Tammy chose me to co-host this plunge and sound bath, I thought of so many things.
How gentle sounds takes us through journeys, carrying us, flowing like a river, like a steady flow, taking us down a feeling we once knew, helping process what we feel through a soft guidance.
Then a beautiful contrast to end carrying us into the integrative experience of the bittersweet, the warmth of our nervous system bringing us straight into the presence with the Sauna then a sting from the cold which liken us to the strong presence of our nervous system kicking into heal and help process and integrate and fully support the presence of our feelings.
It's okay to have huge feelings, it's how we proceed and process it. And I love the idea of a full on Sensory Journey to bring awareness back to what's fundamentally important, how we feel now, how we felt then and processing and proceeding with the grace and support of wonderful people around us.
Please join us October 18th.
We always love seeing you leave feeling good in your body. we know that feeling ourselves … when you’ve taken the time to come in, worked through the initial resistance to the cold, and find yourself so glad you did.
