Halloween Candy Donations Needed!

Freedom Recovery Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit organization that depends on the generosity and support of our community. We are now collecting individually wrapped candy to hand out to children on Halloween evening!

Our ministry will have a tent set up on Main Street in downtown Mocksville, directly in front of First Baptist Church. We are excited for this opportunity to connect with local families, share God’s love, and spread a little sweetness throughout our community!

Every bag of candy big or small will help make this outreach possible. If you feel led to donate, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. Thank you for continuing to bless Freedom Recovery Ministries and helping us serve our community with love!

Please feel free to reach out to a member of our ministry team to arrange your donation.

If you laid something down at Jesus’ feet and asked Him to help restore you, don’t go back and pick it up again.

Leave the hurt, shame, addiction, fear, anger, and burdens with Him. Healing is a journey, and some days will be harder than others but you do not have to walk it alone.

Continue to pray through every step. Ask God for guidance when you feel lost, strength when you feel weak, and courage when you’re tempted to return to what He is helping you overcome.

Keep moving forward. Keep trusting. Keep praying. God is still working, even when you cannot see it. What you placed in His hands is safer there than it ever was in yours.

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7

Tonight, all of our small groups came together as one big family for a special time of fellowship. We had the opportunity to hear about the milestones reached, victories won, prayers answered, and progress being made throughout each person’s journey.

Every step forward deserves to be celebrated whether it feels big or small. We are so thankful for a community where we can encourage one another, celebrate together, and remind each other that no one has to walk through recovery or healing alone.

God is moving, lives are being changed, and hope is being restored. We are incredibly proud of everyone who continues to show up, keep going, and trust God through the journey!

Thank you Miller’s Restaurant for preparing our meal tonight.

Happy Thankful Thursday!

Today, let’s pause and thank God for the blessings in our lives both the big ones and the small ones. Even during difficult seasons, there is always something to be grateful for.

At Freedom Recovery Ministries, we are thankful for every person who walks through our doors, the healing taking place, and the community God continues to build.

What is one thing you are thankful for today? Share it in the comments so we can celebrate God’s goodness together!

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1

Hello, September!

A new month is a reminder that God gives us fresh beginnings, renewed strength, and another opportunity to keep moving forward.

No matter what kind of recovery or healing you are facing, remember that progress happens one day, one prayer, and one step at a time. You do not have to have everything figured out you simply have to keep going.

As we begin September, our prayer is that this month brings peace to your heart, strength for your journey, and hope for the days ahead. Freedom Recovery Ministries is here to walk beside you with faith, love, support, and absolutely no judgment.

“See, I am doing a new thing!” — Isaiah 43:19

Welcome, September! May this month be filled with healing, growth, and new beginnings.

We are so thankful for the wonderful meal prepared by Huffmans Restaurant for Freedom Recovery Ministries tonight!

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the anonymous individual who generously paid for the entire meal. Your kindness and generosity truly blessed our group and allowed everyone to enjoy a warm meal and meaningful fellowship before tonight’s meeting.

God continues to provide for our ministry through people with giving hearts, and we are incredibly grateful. Thank you for supporting our mission and helping us remind others that they are loved, supported, and never alone.

May God richly bless you for the blessing you were to us tonight!
