We were so grateful to welcome the fifth graders to Brookside today for Kids in the Community! These hardworking students spent the day helping us clean the ditches, call BINGO, till the garden beds, and tidy up the yards!

Kari even gave them a tour of our Brookside community, where they had the opportunity to meet some of our sweet residents.

As a special thank you for all their help, the students enjoyed some freshly popped popcorn before heading back to school! 🍿

It was so fun having our Montevideo 2nd graders come and spend some time with our residents! They had prepared fun May Day baskets with little surprises inside to hand out around the building! They had pleasant conversations, read books, and did a few coloring crafts! A perfect way to spend our Friday 😊
