In case you haven’t heard… We have the most amazing volunteers at MFMC! Lucy has been an incredible blessing for us and our patients as an important member of our Case Management team.

Next week she begins 2 years of research work helping develop cures for viruses at The National Institute of Health in Maryland. Then she has already been accepted into the Ph.D research program at Oxford! We will miss you, Lucy!

Congratulations to this girl! Ady just passed her boards and is an RN! Graduated Southmoore High School and OU. She’s been volunteering at MFMC with her parents for 11 years!

Ady started out helping out with childcare with volunteer’s kiddos and now she is a vital part of our nursing team. We’re very proud of you, Ady!

In light of the boil order this is a good time to remind everyone that E Coli and other bacteria can be carried in your toothbrush. Boil / sterilize or replace yours and use bottled water or boiled water when you brush!

Sharing this Emergency E. coli update from the City of Moore

DRINKING WATER WARNING
BOIL YOUR WATER BEFORE USING or USE BOTTLED WATER
Moore water is contaminated with E. coli

E. coli bacteria were verified in the Moore Public Water Supply on July 9, 2026. These bacteria can make you sick, and they are a particular concern for people with weakened immune systems.

This order only applies to customers of Moore PWS in the area east of Interstate 35, south of SE 4th St., north of Indian Hills Rd. and west of the Moore city limits. For what to do next go to: https://www.cityofmoore.com/drinking-water-warning

PATIENT NO SHOW POLICY UPDATE

We understand that our patients may need to cancel an appointment occasionally. In such circumstances, please contact us no later than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. You may do so by calling 405-759-0853.

If you do not show up for your appointment, or cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment time, we will consider that a no-show.

As of June 5, 2026:
Two No-show appointments will result in removal as a patient. You may reapply after 12 months.

We know that unexpected situations sometimes arise. We have a patient waiting list and want to help as many of our neighbors as possible. Your No-show wastes the valuable time and resources of our volunteers and prevents us from helping another patient in need of medical care. Please consider others if you are unable to make your appointment.
