Bruce W. Smith, 83, passed away on September3, 2026 in Moorestown, NJ.

Born on June 6,1943 in Wi******er, Mass. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Bryant Univ and later served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

Bruce worked for various Property Casualty insurance Companies over the years in various positions, ending with 10 years at Cigna in Philadelphia.

He was deeply engaged in one of his greatest interests; w**e. His passion was learning., and teaching about w**e, he shared that knowledge through his involvement as a member of the American W**e Society. Bruce also taught courses on W**e Appreciation at Mercer County Community College for 20 years, bringing this subject to others.

Bruce also loved traveling to various parts of the world with his wife, especially enjoying and learning from various w**e regions.

In earlier years, Bruce enjoyed playing tennis during high school and college. And pickle ball in recent years.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 56 years Donna (nee Gerencser ) Smith. Brother of Sandra Fort. Also survived by his brother- and sister-in-law’s, Peggy and Robert Baumann, and Emery and Arlene Gerencser; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11 am on Thursday, Oct. 1st 2026 at the Chapel at the Evergreens, 309 Bridgeboro Road, Moorestown NJ.

Dr. Won S*k Cynn died on August 22, 2026, in Moorestown, New Jersey, at the age of 90. He passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on June 26, 1936, in Korea, Dr. Cynn built a life guided by his great love for his patients, colleagues, friends and, most of all, his family. He earned his medical degree from Yonsei Severance Medical School, where he formed a close circle of friends with whom he would share the rest of his life. He went on to a distinguished career reflecting both breadth of training and sustained dedication to his profession.

From 1961 to 1965, Dr. Cynn served as an army physician, including several months in the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea. After his military service, he continued his medical training in the United States. He was a medical intern at Huron Road Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and in 1966 became a psychiatry resident at Philadelphia General Hospital. He then pursued radiology, serving as a radiology resident at the Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania from 1967 to 1971.

Following his residency, Dr. Cynn joined the faculty of the New Jersey College of Medicine in Newark, where he taught for two years. He later returned to the radiology department at the University of Pennsylvania, where he taught and did clinical work for many years, mostly at Graduate Hospital. He specialized in gastrointestinal radiology using barium.

Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Dr. Grotkowski passed away at her home on August 17, 2026. She was known for her warmth, quick wit, directness, and inclusive personality.

Married to Leon Grotkowski since October 1988. She was predeceased by her parents (Jean Lindner and Leroy Stanford), her brother Roy, and her ex-husband, Joseph Ernst. Daughters Aubrie Ernst, Nicole E. Farney, and Julie Grotkowski; sons Carl and James Grotkowski. Wyatt and Oliver Farney and Luke and Leia Grotkowski.

Survived by her younger brother, Steven Stanford, his wife Nancy, and their children Mallory and Jacob.

A pioneering cytopathologist who graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1976 and practiced medicine in Camden, NJ, for over 45 years. She was recognized for her landmark studies on tumors and cysts, co-authoring work on cervical cancer screening and HPV vaccination, and solving rare medical mysteries. She earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 1976 from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Internship: She completed a one-year internship in internal medicine (1976–1977) at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Geraldine R. Bresan lived her life defined by kindness, faith, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She passed away at the age of 89, surrounded by the love of her family in her longtime Cinnaminson home, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of generosity, compassion, and quiet strength.

Born on April 14, 1937, in Albany, New York, Geraldine was the daughter of Herbert and Dorothy Jane Reilly. She was the oldest daughter in a family of eight children and grew up alongside her siblings, Bert, Charles, Patricia, Kathleen, Eileen, Thomas, and Marcia.

She graduated from the College of Saint Rose in Albany with a degree in biology and began her career teaching middle school chemistry. While at Saint Rose, she attended a Valentine's Day dance where she met Vincent "Vince" Bresan, the man who would become her husband and best friend. They were married in December 1959 and shared more than 52 wonderful years together, building a life rooted in love, faith, family, and adventure. They settled in New Jersey, where they raised six children: Kathy (Alan), Vincent, Michael (Kathy), Tommy, Susan (Rich), and Jennifer (Mike).

After raising her family, Geraldine returned to school to earn her nursing degree at Burlington County College and spent many years volunteering as a school nurse at her children’s school. She loved helping others and believed it was never too late to learn something new.

Marie D. Penna - Barrett died the 7th of August 2026, that’s the end of the story.
Let us start at the beginning. She was born in Wilmington Delaware on 23rd of March, 1930. An only child and keeping herself busy she became what is considered a Renaissance woman.

She graduated from Germantown high school and went to work for the Land Title Bank and Company across from the Independence Hall. Where she was the soloist soprano for the Land Title Choral Group well established at that time.

Some of her refinement included the things she taught herself, the most beautiful of those was knitting. Also, a chef each meal a picture, balanced and presented to us at a dressed table.

She made all the draperies for our first home while taking care of all three of us. In 1961 she graduated from the National School of Nursing, in Philadelphia, Pa.

When we moved to New Jersey, we attended Our Lady of Good Counsel for grammar school. Mother started out volunteering her time, which turned into a permanent position of 25 years. Time well spent as she built over a 5000-volume library and video center, and implemented the title two government program for hot lunch for grades 1 through 8.

After retiring from O.L.O.G.C. She worked at Quigley Communications in Center City, running the finance department.

Her retirement never ended taking care of her husband of 63 years, David and her two daughters, Davida and Laurene.

Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Lubin (nee Mick), on August 6, 2026 age 94, a longtime resident of Moorestown, NJ. Beloved wife of the late Harry J. Lubin. Dear mother of Harry Lubin (Diane), Andrew Lubin, Patrick Lubin (Joanne), the late Brian Lubin, Matt Lubin (Kathy), Timothy G. Lubin, the late Thomas Lubin, Mary Lubin and Elizabeth Lubin (Kevin Randall). Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Marty), Patrick, Jr., Ian (Elise), Ryan (Samantha), Emily, Matthew, Kate, Justin and John. Loving great-grandmother of Lilly, Jackson, Chloe, Elizabeth and Charlotte. Dear sister of Patty Whitcraft and the late Marvin Mick.

Betty grew up in Pennsauken, NJ and attended Moorestown High School. Following her graduation, she continued her education at Glassboro State Teachers College, spending her summers making the finest lime rickys ever produced on the Wildwood boardwalk. In 1954, she graduated from college and began her career as a teacher. She married Harry in 1955 and the family moved to Moorestown in 1961, where she remained until her passing. An avid reader, she later in life embarked on a new career, working at the Cinnaminson Branch Library. After her 2011 retirement, she enjoyed visiting her sister in Ocean City, NJ, and spending time with her family across the generations.

Maria Conroy, born on August 16, 1935, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026, in Marlton, New Jersey. A woman deeply cherished for her family-loving, caring, and compassionate nature, Maria's presence was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who knew her.

Maria's commitment to her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She is survived by her daughters, Rosita Conroy and Lisa Conroy; grandchildren, Vincent Berkery and Angelina Conroy; and great-grandson, Vinny Berkery. Maria also leaves behind her granddaughter, Maria Conroy, who shares her namesake. She was preceded in death by her grandson, David Galin, and her beloved husband, Gerald Conroy.

A passionate cook and gardener, Maria found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her kitchen was a gathering place where family and friends shared many loving meals, and her garden was a testament to her dedication and care, blooming with life under her skilled hands.

The family will hold a service to celebrate Maria's life at the Lewis Funeral Home , 78 E. Main St. Moorestown , NJ. on August 18, 2026, at 7 pm. Barbara Gray Lewis (née Blair), age 89, passed away on July 28, 2026, at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Born on September 12, 1936, in Boston Massachusetts, Barbara lived a life overflowing with love, kindness, and wisdom, touching everyone fortunate enough to be in her orbit.
Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Allen J. Lewis, her husband of 56 years, whom she married on June 29, 1958, and with whom she shared a beautiful marriage until his passing on November 14, 2014. She was a devoted mother to her son, Christopher A. Lewis, of Suffern, NY, and her daughter, Marcia Jean Lewis Sellman, of New York City, and a loving grandmother to Amelia Elaine Sellman, also of New York City. She is also survived by her cherished sister, Peggy Kingsley. She was preceded in death by Allen, and by her brothers, David Blair and Alexander Blair.
Barbara grew up in Danvers, Massachusetts and attended Salem State College, earning a B.S. Degree in Education.
Teaching was Barbara's calling, and in many ways, who she was. She spent 40 years teaching elementary and middle school English, stepping away only briefly to substitute teach while her own children were young. Beyond the classroom, she was known for helping her students with the school newspaper and other activities, always ready to give a little more of herself to the young people in her care.

Gregory Denison Leonberg Sr., lifelong resident of Moorestown, passed away on July 30, 2026 at 68 with his beloved children by his side. Greg lived a life marked by dedication and service to his family, friends, community, and passions.

Service to others was a huge part of Greg’s life. He served over three decades with the Moorestown Fire Department as an active member of Hose Company No. 1. holding key roles such as Lieutenant and Fire Commissioner. Beyond his local contributions, Greg extended his leadership to the broader firefighting community. He served on the board of the New Jersey Firemen's Relief Association and held the position of Burlington County’s representative to the board of the New Jersey Firemen’s Home for an impressive 20 years. His steadfast dedication left an indelible mark on the individuals he worked alongside and the communities he served.

Outside of his professional life, Greg found joy in simple yet meaningful pursuits. He had a passion for gardening, landscaping, and collecting antiques of all kinds; from cars and farm equipment, to horse drawn sleighs and even municipal Christmas decorations. More often than not, all of these strange finds were collected through winding road trips arranged via Facebook Marketplace or, in the early days, Craigslist (with printed MapQuest directions and a child reading them from the passenger seat). Cathy Brown, 90, of Moorestown New Jersey passed away on July 26, 2026. She was the loving wife of Bill Brown for 67 years. She is survived by two children Jeff (Terry) Brown of Roswell, GA, and Logan Brown of Levittown, PA and her grandchildren Megan (Penny), Kelly (Brian), Jeff (Paige), Billy (Lauren), Brady, Victoria, Katie, Grant and Christian along with 5 great grandchildren Wesley, Calix, Ivy, Axel and William VI. Cathy was predeceased by her loving parents, John Logan and Teresa (Grant), her son Bill Brown and her grandson Wesley Brown.

Cathy was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to a family of 5 sisters and 2 brothers. She graduated from Hallahan Girls High School and went on to get a BA. from Burlington County College Magnum cm laude. She had a long successful career working at the Vorhees Library. Cathy will be remembered for her loving heart, sense of humor, faith, kindness and devotion. She loved the arts, education, travel and family and friends. Dedicated to history, she traveled with her husband Bill to many historical societies including the Society of the Cincinnati. Loving to get everyone together, she planned many wonderful meals for her family. Her laugh would light up a room.
