James W. "Jim" Dow, Jr., DDS, On October 27, 2026 age 93 of Moorestown, NJ. James was born on August 22, 1933, to Eva and J. William Dow in Haddonfield, New Jersey. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise.
Jim is survived by his four children, Stephen (Dawn), Bradley (Mary), LeeAnne (Alex), and Theodore (Anne), as well as his three stepchildren, Bradford (Stuart), Douglas (Linda), and Lawrence.
Jim graduated from Haddonfield High School in 1951 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Dickinson College in 1955. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1959.
Jim entered the United States Navy Dental Corps in 1956. He served two years on active duty from 1959 to 1961 and continued his service on inactive duty until 1967.
Following his active-duty service, Jim established a private dental practice in Moorestown, New Jersey, where he practiced for 40 years. He was deeply involved in his community and served as president of both the Moorestown Improvement Association and the Moorestown Kiwanis Club. He also served as president of The Piazza Condominium in Voorhees, New Jersey, and La Vida Del Mar Condominium in Diamond Beach, New Jersey.
Jim was equally dedicated to organized dentistry and his profession. He served as a Trustee and President of the Southern Dental Society of New Jersey and as Chairman of the New Jersey Dental Association Peer Review Council. He was also a member of the staff...

Doris Jean Wiggin (nee Griffith) On Oct. 18th, 2026 age 82 of Voorhees, NJ.
Doris was retired from Seafood Shanty where she had been a Regional Manager in the Philadelphia area for many years.
Mother of two daughter’s Sandi Parente-Geiges and Susi Canale. Grandmother of Glenn Edwards, Ian Canale and Zac Canale, Alex Parente and Randy Parente. Sister of the late Larry Griffith.

Robert H. Booker, a longtime resident of Moorestown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on September 28, 2026.
Bob was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Elaine, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. He was a dedicated father to their three children and a proud and supportive grandfather to his many grandchildren, who brought him tremendous joy.
Bob served in the United States Army and went on to own and operate R.H. Booker Flooring. He enjoyed connecting with people, whether through a friendly conversation, making someone laugh, or simply offering a helping hand. Known for his fairness, strong work ethic, and devotion to his family, Bob was someone others could always count on.
He will be remembered with love for the laughter he shared, the kindness he showed, and the many lives he touched.
Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating Bob's life and sharing a casual lunch on Thursday, October 29, 2026, anytime between 12:00 noon and 2:30 p.m.

Sumiko Young, age 73 of Moorestown, NJ passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Rick. She was the loving mother of Mary Yasuko (Richard), Arthur Edward (Paige), Melissa Ann and Kenneth Omar. She was the cherished Nana to Daniel, Edward, Ricki, Zachary, Mona, Ryan, Charlotte, Riley, Adriana, Paul, and Josephine. Her greatest joys were her great grandchildren Mason, Roman, Madilyn, Lincoln, Kayden, Parker and June. She was a devoted sister to Fusako, Edward and Robert. She was a best friend to Sharon since high school.

Sumiko graduated from Moorestown High School. After marrying her high school sweetheart Rick, she dedicated her life to raising their family, volunteering, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sumiko was a Lifetime Member of the Girl Scouts. She was an active member of the local council until her health forced her to step back. She was a member of the Moorestown Girl Scout Service Team, sharing her love and knowledge of Girl Scouting with new leaders. She also served as a Troop Leader for her daughters, granddaughter and many girls through the years. Sumiko was presented with numerous Girl Scout awards, including the Marti Klugman Leadership Award.

She took part in the Girl Scout International Exchange with the local council and Girl Guides in England, Canada and Australia, hosting girls and traveling overseas. Sumiko visited 3 of the Girl...

Mark Allen Rowland, 74, of Gouldsboro, Pennsylvania and prior longtime resident of Jamison, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 22nd, 2026. He was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, on June 10th, 1952, to Robert & Maxine Rowland.

While working for General Motors, Mark met the love of his life, Joanmarie Steward, and not long afterward they were married on July 2nd, 1978, and remained so for 48 years. They would go on to have three children, Jacqueline, Mark Jr., and Robert.

Mark had many careers and talents throughout his life (a jack of all trades, but master of none) — he was Mr. Fix-it around the house. He worked for many years as a respiratory therapist and polysomnographer, and became the Director of the Sleep Lab at Montgomery/Einstein Hospital, retiring in 2016.

He was an actor in high school and college, performing in several productions. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and also played soccer and baseball. He had a passion for riding motorcycles (particularly Harleys), as well as, horseback riding. For many years, Mark, along with his horse, Red, were members of the 2nd New Jersey Cavalry, reenacting Civil War battles and camp life. He was also not half-bad at the pool table or the chessboard, much to his sons’ chagrin.

Margaret “Peggy” Mary Aiello, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in Easton, Maryland. She was 89.

Born on January 19, 1937, in Moorestown, New Jersey, Peggy lived a life defined by love, strength, courage, kindness, and deep devotion to her family, her friends, and her Catholic faith.

Peggy was a selfless and generous woman who gave freely of herself to all who were fortunate enough to know and love her. She will be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, loyalty, grace, and unwavering love for those closest to her.

She had a special way of showing love—through quiet wisdom, steadfast care, and the comfort she brought to others. Her love and guidance will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and friends, and in the many lives she touched.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Margaret McGann; her sister, Patricia; and her brother, Francis. Peggy is survived by her sons, Thomas (Mary), Robert (Robyn), and John (Lisa); her daughter, Susan Schmigel (Greg); and her grandchildren, Kelsey Salgado, John Michael Aiello, Alexandra Aiello, Juliana Aiello, Rebecca Aiello, and Isabella Aiello.

Though Peggy is no longer with us, her love remains a lasting presence in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will be cherished, her legacy carried forward, and her presence deeply missed.

Bruce W. Smith, 83, passed away on September3, 2026 in Moorestown, NJ.

Born on June 6,1943 in Wi******er, Mass. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Bryant Univ and later served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

Bruce worked for various Property Casualty insurance Companies over the years in various positions, ending with 10 years at Cigna in Philadelphia.

He was deeply engaged in one of his greatest interests; w**e. His passion was learning., and teaching about w**e, he shared that knowledge through his involvement as a member of the American W**e Society. Bruce also taught courses on W**e Appreciation at Mercer County Community College for 20 years, bringing this subject to others.

Bruce also loved traveling to various parts of the world with his wife, especially enjoying and learning from various w**e regions.

In earlier years, Bruce enjoyed playing tennis during high school and college. And pickle ball in recent years.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 56 years Donna (nee Gerencser ) Smith. Brother of Sandra Fort. Also survived by his brother- and sister-in-law’s, Peggy and Robert Baumann, and Emery and Arlene Gerencser; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11 am on Thursday, Oct. 1st 2026 at the Chapel at the Evergreens, 309 Bridgeboro Road, Moorestown NJ.

Dr. Won S*k Cynn died on August 22, 2026, in Moorestown, New Jersey, at the age of 90. He passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on June 26, 1936, in Korea, Dr. Cynn built a life guided by his great love for his patients, colleagues, friends and, most of all, his family. He earned his medical degree from Yonsei Severance Medical School, where he formed a close circle of friends with whom he would share the rest of his life. He went on to a distinguished career reflecting both breadth of training and sustained dedication to his profession.

From 1961 to 1965, Dr. Cynn served as an army physician, including several months in the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea. After his military service, he continued his medical training in the United States. He was a medical intern at Huron Road Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and in 1966 became a psychiatry resident at Philadelphia General Hospital. He then pursued radiology, serving as a radiology resident at the Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania from 1967 to 1971.

Following his residency, Dr. Cynn joined the faculty of the New Jersey College of Medicine in Newark, where he taught for two years. He later returned to the radiology department at the University of Pennsylvania, where he taught and did clinical work for many years, mostly at Graduate Hospital. He specialized in gastrointestinal radiology using barium.

Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Dr. Grotkowski passed away at her home on August 17, 2026. She was known for her warmth, quick wit, directness, and inclusive personality.

Married to Leon Grotkowski since October 1988. She was predeceased by her parents (Jean Lindner and Leroy Stanford), her brother Roy, and her ex-husband, Joseph Ernst. Daughters Aubrie Ernst, Nicole E. Farney, and Julie Grotkowski; sons Carl and James Grotkowski. Wyatt and Oliver Farney and Luke and Leia Grotkowski.

Survived by her younger brother, Steven Stanford, his wife Nancy, and their children Mallory and Jacob.

A pioneering cytopathologist who graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1976 and practiced medicine in Camden, NJ, for over 45 years. She was recognized for her landmark studies on tumors and cysts, co-authoring work on cervical cancer screening and HPV vaccination, and solving rare medical mysteries. She earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 1976 from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Internship: She completed a one-year internship in internal medicine (1976–1977) at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
