Please join us in giving a huge congratulations to Shadah Gipson, Sonia Wilson, and Chasity Barger for completing their 25 hours of supervision for their TRAD and now preparing to take their RAD test.
This accomplishment represents much more than hours completed. It represents commitment, discipline, growth, and a continued willingness to become stronger in the field of peer support. Completing supervision takes dedication, accountability, and a desire to keep learning so that the support being given to others is meaningful, ethical, and effective.
Shadah, Sonia, and Chasity have shown what it means to take their lived experience, their compassion, and their professional development seriously. They are not just working toward a license — they are working toward becoming even greater examples of hope, strength, and recovery for the women they serve every day.
The impact they make on the women of Revived Radiance is powerful. Peer support is not just about giving advice or sharing experience. It is about walking beside someone when they feel broken, helping them see value in themselves when they cannot see it, and reminding them that recovery is possible even on the hardest days. These women bring that kind of support into the lives of others.
Through their presence, encouragement, and dedication, Shadah, Sonia, and Chasity help create an environment where women can feel seen, heard, respected, and supported. They help build trust. They help break down shame. They help women understand that their past does not have to define their future. That kind of work cannot always be measured on paper, but it is felt deeply by the people whose lives are being changed.
Their dedication to recovery shows in the way they continue to show up, serve, learn, and grow. They are part of the reason women at Revived Radiance are able to believe in themselves again. They offer hope through example, accountability through compassion, and support through lived experience.
As they prepare for their RAD test, we want to recognize not only the hard work they have already completed, but also the purpose behind it. Their growth strengthens the peer support field, strengthens the recovery community, and strengthens the women they serve.
Shadah, Sonia, and Chasity — we are incredibly proud of each of you. Your dedication matters. Your impact matters. Your work is changing lives, and this is only the beginning of what you will continue to accomplish in recovery support.
Congratulations on this major milestone, and good luck as you prepare for your RAD test. Keep pushing forward — you are making a difference every single day.
