🧑‍⚕️ NEW ADOLESCENT SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT PROGRAM OPENS IN ROWAN COUNTY

Mountain Comprehensive Care Center has launched a new Specialized Adolescent Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program based in Rowan County and is now accepting referrals from Rowan and surrounding counties.

The program provides evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment for adolescents and young adults, including individual counseling, family support and education, life-skills training, academic support and planning for continued care after treatment.

Transportation assistance is also available for clients who need help getting to and from appointments.

The program is accepting referrals from youth workers, schools, juvenile justice partners, families and others seeking services for a young person.

For additional information, contact Adolescent Support Specialist Melissa Adkins at the Rowan County office.

A special day was had at Essence Recovery as they celebrated Latisha completing 6 months of residential treatment and Miley completing 30 days! 💜

Recovery is built one day, one choice, and one challenge at a time. Today, we recognize the determination it takes to keep showing up and doing the work. We are proud to witness both of these women continue writing a new chapter for themselves.
