Michelle Marie Cothron, a resident of Bayou Vista, was unexpectedly called to her heavenly home on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at the age of 64.

In celebration of her first heavenly birthday, a memorial visitation will be held for Michelle on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 from 12noon until 2pm at Hargrave Funeral Home with dismissal to follow.

Help Keep Our Community Warm This Winter.

Hargrave Funeral Home is proud to serve as a donation drop-off location for the Kiwanis Club of East St. Mary Winter Coat Drive. Beginning September 1 through October 31, we invite our community to help make a difference by donating new or gently used winter clothing for local residents in need.

We are accepting:

- Coats & Jackets
- Hoodies & Sweaters
- Scarves
- Gloves & Mittens
- Winter Hats & Beanies
- Other cold-weather outerwear

Donations may be dropped off at Hargrave Funeral Home during our regular business hours, Monday through Friday | 8:00am - 4:00pm.

All donated items will be distributed by the Kiwanis Club of East St. Mary to help local non-profits, individuals and families throughout our community stay warm during the winter months.
