Within a trusting, confidential, and empathic environment one can manage challenging issues and find a way towards self improvement and further growth. Not only do I work with adults, but I also specialize in working with adolescents. I hav

e over 15 years of professional experience working with adolescents in a variety of settings. I provide them with support, guidance, and encourage self determination to help them reach goals that are important to them. My goal is to both empower and challenge you to increase self-awareness, develop insight, and learn healthy ways to cope with life's challenges. Through self-exploration we can implement positive, healthy changes which are necessary to facilitate healing and growth. I am also an Approved Clinical Supervisor and provide supervision services to future Licensed Professional Counselors. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you.

The final article of the 3 part series from TapInto Hanover!

This final piece is the reason I chose to share my story.

Because my story was never meant to end with what happened to me.

It continued with a dog named Stella who helped me find safety again. It continued with healing, rebuilding, and finding a purpose from the pain.

And now, it continues through Kelly’s K9s, Tails of Courage.

What started as my survival story has become a mission to help other survivors take their lives back.

Thank you TapInto Hanover for sharing not just what I survived, but what came after.

Because that’s the part I’m most proud of. 💜🐾

This isn’t just about me. It’s about every survivor who deserves to feel safe again. Every protection dog changing a life. Every person who believed in this mission before the world started paying attention.

From surviving to helping others reclaim their safety, power, and voice. This is Stella’s legacy at work.

To the mothers carrying invisible loads, loving through exhaustion, healing while still showing up for everyone else… this day is for you too.

To the women grieving mothers, becoming mothers, mothering alone, reparenting themselves, or trying to break cycles they were never meant to survive… your strength deserves to be honored today.

Motherhood is not about perfection. It is about presence, resilience, sacrifice, and love in all the quiet ways the world often overlooks.

Not because this story is easy to tell, but because it needs to be told.

From surviving in silence to standing in purpose.
This never would have happened without the people who believed in me when I couldn’t, especially Bobby Gierla from , who doesn’t just breed and train dogs, but helped me rebuild trust, strength, and safety when I had lost all three.

Every scar, every step, every dog led here, especially because of Stella.

This is for every survivor who feels alone and powerless. You aren’t. And this isn’t the end of your story. I’m living proof of that.
