An Ayurvedic cleanse truly is powerful stuff! Not because there’s some top secret formula or magical herb I’m going to give you that will take all of your problems away. But because this program is a catalyst for how to work WITH your body’s natural rhythms in order to balance & heal.

I’m feeling extra inspired by the feedback I’ve been hearing from my cleanse group this round and I want to keep it going 🙏

I’m opening up two slots for a 1:1 spring cleanses between now and the end of May.

You pick your dates (anywhere from 5-8 days is ideal), I’ll send you materials to review, we meet 1:1 to customize this program to support your needs & goals ahead of time, and then we check in via email throughout.

DM me with questions and to claim a spot ☀️

Just as we change the oil periodically in our cars and do regular maintenance on our homes, most bodies can benefit from periodic digestive re-sets!

To be clear, cleansing in Ayurveda is VERY different than cleansing in the western lens. We don’t starve ourselves or over exercise here 🚫

This cleanse is about designating a period of time to SIMPLIFY.

To eat nourishing meals that are specifically designed to be easy-to-digest.

To reduce unnecessary sensory inputs like doomscrolling & checking work email from bed and add in more nourishing practices like self massage with warm oil or guided meditation.

This program is designed to help our agni (aka digestive strength) move back towards balance. Strong digestion is the foundation for our health- it supports immunity, energy levels, focus, and mental clarity. And an Ayurvedic cleanse is a fantastic way to get your digestion back on track.

This program can benefit most, but is especially supportive for those experiencing digestive upsets like bloating, indigestion, constipation, or loose stool, skin issues, congestion/post nasal drip, or mental sluggishness or scatteredness.

Join us: April 4-11th! (All meetings are recorded if you need to shift the dates.)

PS- early bird discount ends 3/26! This is the lowest price I’ve ever offered (and likely will ever offer) for this program. Partially it’s because I’m way late to market it this season (oops 😅) but mostly it’s because I just really want to invite you all IN to this container that I love so much, that has supported my health and so many of my clients 🫶

On my intake form I ask new clients what they perceive as their “healthiest” and “unhealthiest” habit.

Yesterday a new client shared with me that her worst habit was staying up very late binging tv, knowing she should go to bed but feeling completely stuck to move.

“I know I just need to suck it up and get more discipline” she said.

But as we unpacked her routines a bit deeper, it became clear that these late night tv binges were less about discipline and more evidence of exhaustion. Of mentally going 1000mph all day long, inevitably ending in a huge crash.

Numbing habits can serve a role in moderation. It feels good to escape every so often. But when we fall into extreme numbing habits (and we ALL do)- whether it’s scrolling, tv binges, food binges, substance over use, etc.- it’s easy to blame the behavior without diving into what we actually need.

And sure, discipline may play a role, but I think it’s usually deeper than that. A need for more rest/sensory breaks, more nourishment, more play, more connection, more support from others, etc.

With this client, we’re focusing less on the tv and more on adding in mental nourishment/rest. We’re creating routines and rituals that fit into her schedule and cultivate tiny windows of slowness and softness for her very pitta (aka mobile/sharp/analytical) mind.

Next time you’re beating yourself up over your “worst habit”- perhaps be curious about it instead.

What is it that you really need? 🫶

Join us for an Ayurvedic workshop & cooking class to support digestive health & vitality!

➡️Saturday 2/9/25 10:00-12:30 at hosted by .rhythmic.living.ayurveda

In Ayurveda, a 5,000 year old eastern medicine practice based out of ancient India, the foundation of our health is directly related to the strength of our Agni (“ug-nee”) or digestive fire.

When agni is balanced, one tends to experience strong immunity, steady energy levels, a clear mind, and healthy/regular bowel movements.

When Agni is out of balance, we can experience digestive discomforts and GI issues, as well as fatigue, brain fog, skin issues, emotional imbalances, menstrual imbalances, and more.

Our agni is something that naturally fluctuates throughout the ups and downs of life. Come learn how to tune into these signs from your body and figure out how to use food as medicine to find or maintain your balance.

We’ll spend the first half of this workshop diving into the Ayurvedic lens of nutrition and digestion, how our digestion is connected to other aspects of our physical/mental/emotional health, how different foods work best for different bodies and seasons, and practical strategies to support digestion.

Then we’ll move into the kitchen to learn how to make 3 potent Agni-supporting recipes:

➡️Takra: a probiotic rich, spiced yogurt drink taken before meals to restore intestinal flora and increase nutrient absorption.

➡️CCFT spice blend: a tasty spice blend that naturally supports the release of digestive enzymes for better processing and absorption of nutrients.

➡️Kitchari: a nourishing, easy-to-digest meal made of mung beans, rice, ginger, ghee, and digestive spices that is extremely easy for the gut to break down and thus can serve as a “re-set” when digestion falls off, or an anytime tasty meal.

Space is limited to 12 spots. Includes a printed workbook and lunch.

When I was in my 20s, I suddenly developed pretty brutal circulation issues. It started with Raynaud’s Disease where my fingers and toes would turn purple and become painful, even when I was inside. Then it progressed to dizziness and even passing out when standing.

I saw several doctors which resulted in normal tests, another label diagnosis (orthostatic hypotension) and a recommendation to stand up more slowly🙄. And then, in an encounter I’m forever grateful for, I found Ayurveda.

Ayurveda taught me to see the connection between these diagnoses and a host of other symptoms I had been experiencing. And that helped me shift from feeling anxious + confused about my symptoms to feeling empowered in how to heal them. I learned that the foods I was eating, lots of salads/smoothies, were actually the opposite of what my constitution needed. I started to shift my whole lens on nutrition and health.

And I learned abhyanga. And that’s when everything really changed.

Abhyanga is a self-massage that is done using warm herbal oil before you shower/bathe. This sequence of strokes and circles promotes blood and lymph flow, boosts digestion, supports immunity, nourishes the skin, and grounds the nervous system.

But for me, the medicine of abhyanga was learning how to reconnect with my body. This practice taught me how to take pause, start my day with intention, and above all- give my body love. Which looking back, was what I really needed the most.

(And yes, my Raynauds and orthostatic issues are long gone ❤️)

To me, that’s what the “art of wintering” is really about: creating sacred pause to connect with and love on your body.

Come join me for The Art of Wintering on 1/19/25 ❤️ We’ll be doing a deep dive on different tools to connect with and love on your body: abhyanga, marma point therapy, sensory organ support practices, pranayama, and more ❄️✨

➡️ PS- If you have tried abhyanga before, I would love to hear your experience in the comments! How has it helped you? What do you love about it?

Winter holds a special kind of magic. It’s the season for deep rest, reflection, and nourishment. A potent time to sit with the questions of our life, tap into our innate creativity, or take a personal hibernation to prepare for spring.

But if we don’t quite know how to work with the energetics of winter, the cold/dark days can leave us feeling scattered, stagnant, or sick.

From an Ayurvedic view, winter is a dance between vata (air+space) and kapha (water+earth) doshas. Depending on your constitution, this season can make you more prone to sinus & respiratory issues, sleep imbalances, dry skin, depression, mental numbness, or stagnation.

All of which Ayurveda looks at as communication from the body asking you to make a shift.

This workshop is designed to help you tune into what your body needs this winter: more grounding, more flow, or perhaps a mix of both. Come learn a variety of Ayurvedic self-care tools that require simply your own hands and some ingredients you likely already have at home.

You will learn tools to support:
✨ Healthier sinus & respiratory functioning
✨ Improved circulation
✨ Better sleep
✨ Steadier energy levels, focus, and mood
✨ A deeper connection with yourself & with nature

Come get cozy, share some tea, and learn how to apply this ancient Ayurvedic wisdom into your daily life. You’ll be supported in creating daily, weekly, or monthly rituals that work best for your life, symptoms, and health goals.

*All attendees receive a printed workbook to support your learning & implementation ❄️❤️
