New record! 🎉

Today we received 397 lbs of donations from Market 32… our biggest donation yet!

Thanks to this incredible abundance, we were able to share food with our amazing community partners:

💚 United Community Church of Morrisville
💚 Lamoille Community House
💚 Jenna's Promise

If you’ve ever seen our kitchen, you know there was no way we could have stored all that food ourselves! We’re so grateful to our partners for helping us get this fresh food out into our community where it’s needed most 😊

We still have plenty of fresh bread and produce available, so stop by this week and pick up what you need!

Thank you to Market 32 and everyone who helps make this possible! 🥖🍎🥬

It's Monday at NCVRC!

We've got a great week ahead. Here are a few special highlights to add to your calendar:

Meet one-on-one to get connected with resources and support.

Whether you're an experienced crocheter or brand new, we want you! We're working on a community art project and could use your help. Crochet Collective is a new drop-in gathering every Tuesday from 12:00 – 4:00 PM. Come by anytime, bring a project, or learn something new.

- Thursday at 11:00 AM – Seeking Safety

Our trauma-informed group is back, offering support for recovery while building healthy coping skills in a safe, welcoming environment.

We look forward to seeing you this week!

There are many pathways to recovery, and recovery looks different for everyone 💙

The field of recovery support continues to evolve. We put together this infographic to help explain some of the differences between a Recovery Coach and a Sponsor, two important but distinct roles that can support someone on their recovery journey.

There are many other valuable members of a recovery support team as well, including counselors, therapists, and medical providers (including Medication-Assisted Treatment/MAT providers). Many people find that having multiple sources of support helps them build a strong foundation for recovery.

No role is “better” than another. Each offers something unique, and the most important thing is finding the support that works for you.

Recovery doesn’t have to be done alone. There is support available, and there is a path forward. 🤲

💙 At NCVRC, recovery coaching is always free. We also host numerous 12-Step meetings, and members of those fellowships are happy to help connect you with a sponsor if that’s something you’re interested in (also free).

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community?

Consider volunteering with NCVRC!

We’re always looking for volunteers who want to support our recovery community 💙

Last week alone, we processed over 291 pounds of donated food, and we’ll be doing it again every Monday morning through early afternoon. That’s one of the times we could especially use some extra helping hands!

Whether you’re available on Mondays or interested in other volunteer opportunities, we’d love to have you join us.

Complete our volunteer application, and a member of our team will be in touch as soon as possible:
