This awesome group spent the morning learning about the meaning of Memorial Day. We stopped by the welcome center and learned why our flags are flown at half staff on Memorial Day. We also visited the chamber of commerce and learned all about the history of the building. To end the morning, we joined in a Memorial Day ceremony to honor and remember the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives while serving our country and protecting our freedoms.

We recently celebrated Shelia’s retirement after 28 dedicated years at Green Oaks Center. Shelia has been such a hard worker, dedicated, caring, and always willing to help others.
