Today was one of those days that reminds us how special our community truly is. We spent the day exploring, learning, and making meaningful connections along the way. From sharing love and care at the Humane Society, to stopping by the Welcome Center to learn more about what’s happening in our community, every moment was filled with purpose and joy.

We enjoyed lunch together at the downtown pavilion, soaked up the beautiful sunshine, visited the courthouse, and ended our day with some relaxing downtime at the library. Days like these are about more than just getting out and about, they’re about building connections, creating memories, and appreciating the people and places that make our community feel like home.

This awesome group spent the morning learning about the meaning of Memorial Day. We stopped by the welcome center and learned why our flags are flown at half staff on Memorial Day. We also visited the chamber of commerce and learned all about the history of the building. To end the morning, we joined in a Memorial Day ceremony to honor and remember the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives while serving our country and protecting our freedoms.
