Dr. Miller was invited to participate in a Q&A panel discussion this afternoon for CampMed. This interprofessional networking event allowed students to get valuable insight from various disciplines within medicine regarding their respective fields. This opportunity will hopefully help to guide students in their next steps as they pursue their future careers in medicine at Central Michigan University 🩺🥼

Here’s your reminder to check out this week’s free “Music In The Park” series on Thursday 5:30-7:30!

Tomorrow evening we will welcome The Izzy Joy Band to Island Park for MMI’s 3rd week of Music in the Park Summer concert series. Come enjoy the pop sounds, Food from the Far Out Food Truck, and sign up to win free food at the MMI tent (winner chosen during the show).

Kids' activities, lots of local non-profits on site showing their support of MMI’s mission. Locate Your Lights Artist Showcase in the pavilion, where artists will create & sell their work, with a portion of the proceeds returning to MMI & Art Reach of Mid-Michigan.

Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, blankets & let’s “community” together with this free event!

As Optimists, we love to give back! What better way to celebrate how we give back to the community than to announce a donation drive!? We are proud to announce a Deodorant Drive that will benefit The Care Store!

How do you participate?
1) Purchase deodorant (both men's and women's scents) and drop them off to participating businesses/one of our club members.
2.) You can also donate financially to any club member.
The participating businesses are as follows: Isabella Community Credit Union(main branch on Isabella Road), The Eyesite, For Arts Sake and Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum.

The drive runs from Monday, June 15th- Friday, June 19th. We plan to drop the donations off to The Care Store the following week.
Thank you to our local businesses for participating in this event, and for our club members for giving back!

Zoo in the Park is just a few days away!
