🎆 What a fantastic Fourth of July weekend! 🎆

We had so much fun seeing the community come together at the Union Grove Fourth of July Parade! What an amazing turn out! The smiling faces lining the streets showing their support was a wonderful reminder of what makes our area so special. 🥰Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and helped make the parade such a memorable event. We're proud to be part of a community that values connection, tradition, and supporting local businesses. ❤️🤍💙

We absolutely loved the joy and excitement in the kids' voices when they picked up the candy we threw and noticed they were eyeballs 👁

Thank you to the Greater Union Grove Chamber of Commerce for another fantastic parade! We hope everyone had a safe and happy Independence Day! 🗽

🎆 Happy Fourth of July from Mount Pleasant Eye Care! 🎆

Today and this weekend, we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy, the communities we call home, and the people who make them special. We are grateful for the opportunity to care for the vision needs of our patients and to be part of such a wonderful community.

As you enjoy the holiday festivities, remember to protect your eyes during outdoor activities by wearing UV-protective sunglasses and using safety glasses around sparklers and fireworks.

🎆We're excited to be participating in the Union Grove 4th of July Parade this year! If you're attending the parade, be sure to watch for our team and give us a wave as we celebrate with the community. 🎉

Please note that our office will be closed Friday, July 3rd, and Saturday, July 4th so our team can enjoy the holiday festivities with family and friends.

Today, Mount Pleasant Eye Care joins our community in recognizing Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

Observed each year on June 19, Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas learned of their freedom—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

As we reflect on this important day in American history, we celebrate the strength, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans who have helped shape our communities and our nation.

At Mount Pleasant Eye Care, we are committed to providing compassionate, inclusive care for every patient who walks through our doors. Today is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and honor the importance of freedom, equity, and community.

GiGi's Joy Photography came to Mount Pleasant Eye Care, and she worked her magic to update our headshots and also get some real-time action shots of us doing our jobs that we love! Gretchen is awesome to work with; she is very patient, personable, knowledgeable, and extremely detail-oriented, which are the best qualities for a photographer to have to get the best photos! She really goes above and beyond with color and outfit suggestions before the day of the shoot! I greatly appreciate all the time that she spent with us.
