Our hearts are heavy today as we mourn the loss of a support crew member who passed away while assisting wildland firefighting efforts.Support personnel are vital to our operations, and this loss is felt deeply by everyone on the line.Mountain Medics extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow crew members of the fallen. We stand with you in grief and solidarity.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of a crewmember who died Sunday following a medical emergency while supporting incident response on the Frijoles Fire in northern New Mexico.

Our thoughts are with the family, loved ones, friends and crewmates, and with the entire wildland fire community mourning this loss.
