Helping children and teens understand bullying and how it differs from general conflict is a helpful first step in prevention. Talk with them about respectful ways to handle conflict and when to seek support from a trusted adult. Teach children and teens how to respond to bullying with humor and assertiveness when appropriate. They should also understand that speaking up about bullying is different from tattling.

October is National Physical Therapy Month!

At CREOKS, our physical therapy services help children move, play, and grow as independently as possible. Through individualized, play-based activities and exercises, pediatric physical therapy can help improve strength, balance, coordination, and safe mobility while building confidence in everyday movements.

“Physical therapist services include the prevention and management of behavioral and mental health conditions, addressing the interconnected physical, psychological, and social health domains to ensure whole-person care.” — American Physical Therapy Association

Ashley Seck, CREOKS Physical Therapist, highlights how physical therapy supports children through personalized care that meets their unique needs. At CREOKS, we believe caring for the whole person means supporting both physical and mental well-being. đź’™
