Forget the cape. A good physical therapist comes armed with a gait belt and a stack of exercise handouts. 🦸🏻‍♂️

Physical therapists show up every day to do quietly heroic work. Helping someone take their first steps again, guiding a shaky knee back to strong, and celebrating the small wins that mean everything to the person living them.

No capes, no spotlight, just steady hands and a whole lot of heart.

Tag a physical therapist who's a hero in your book. 💬

The final phase of ACL rehab is where athletes get their game back. 💙

This is where you rebuild the power, speed, and control to get back in the game with confidence:

✅ Agility Ladder High-Knee Marching (coordination and controlled knee drive)
✅ Lateral Agility Ladder Quick Steps (side-to-side speed and footwork)
✅ Agility Ladder Ickey Shuffle (agility and quick direction changes)
✅ Band-Assisted Split Squat Jumps (explosive power with controlled landings)
✅ Band-Resisted Lateral Bound with Medicine Ball (lateral power and single-leg stability)
✅ Single-Leg Leg Press (strength and balance in the injured leg)
✅ Weighted Bulgarian Split Squats (strengthens each leg for better symmetry)

Working your way back from an ACL injury? We’re here to guide every step. Contact us today to schedule your appointment!

With our Travel Physical Therapy program, you grow your skills and help patients in new communities, all while getting to experience parts of the country you'd never see otherwise. The scenery changes with every assignment, but the support behind you stays the same.

That ball you keep rolling under your foot? It's not fixing your plantar fasciitis. 🦶

It might feel good in the moment, but lasting relief comes from actually strengthening and mobilizing the foot and calf. These three are worth adding in:

→ Slant Board Calf Stretch (improves flexibility in both calf muscles)

→ Toe Yoga (builds control in the small intrinsic foot muscles)

→ Toe-Elevated Calf Raises (strengthens the calf while mobilizing the plantar fascia)

Do these consistently and you'll be addressing the root of the problem, not just chasing temporary relief. 💪

Save this for your next session.

Cardio or weights? That's the wrong question. 💙

The right one is how to do both, and why your body needs you to.

Here's the thing: cardio and strength training aren't rivals. They train completely different systems that both matter. Cardio strengthens your heart and lungs, while resistance training builds muscle and bone. Neither one can do the other's job.

And when you combine them, the results speak for themselves. Research consistently shows that doing both lowers disease risk, improves body composition, and supports a longer, healthier life more than focusing on either one alone.

It makes sense when you think about it. Your body evolved to run, carry, and lift. Training just one way leaves half of what you're capable of untouched.

So stop choosing. Your body was built for both. 💪

Share this with someone who's team cardio or team weights. 📲

Desk job, aching neck, and no amount of stretching seems to help? You're not alone.

The truth is, that stubborn tightness usually isn't about flexibility. It's about strength and posture. When the muscles supporting your neck and upper back are weak, stretching can only do so much, which is why the pain keeps coming back.

Instead, try building strength and mobility through your neck, upper back, and shoulder blades:

✅ Prone T to Arms-Back Raise on a Stability Ball
✅ Seated Thoracic Extension over a Foam Roller
✅ Supine Chin Tuck with Head Lift
✅ Prone Y-T-I on a Stability Ball

Do these consistently and you'll be addressing the actual root of the pain, not just chasing temporary relief. 💪

Save this for your next desk break.

A big thank-you to everyone who showed up, asked the hard questions, and put in the time to get better at what they do. This kind of training doesn't just make us stronger clinicians. It leads to better outcomes for every patient who walks through our doors.

To everyone who took part, your dedication to growing in sports and orthopedic care doesn't go unnoticed. We're proud of this team. 💪

🏋️‍♀️💪 We had a great time getting out into the community at the 12th Annual Midwest Fall Classic with CrossFit 51!

Our team was there to support athletes, promote wellness, and cheer everyone on throughout the competition. We love opportunities like this to connect with our community and support people as they move, compete, and feel their best! 🙌

Thanks, CrossFit 51, for having us!

A special PT Month message from our Vice President of Operations, Adam Bentley, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT.

We couldn’t have said it better. 👏

Behind every exercise, every challenge and every “one more rep” is a patient working toward something that matters to them, getting back to the activities they love, reaching a goal or simply moving through life with more confidence.

Thank you to the PTs and PTAs who guide, encourage, and challenge their patients every step of the way, and to the patients who keep showing up and putting in the work.

Happy Physical Therapy Month! 🎉
