This month’s safety focus is on heat exhaustion, illness, and stress prevention.

🔍 SEE IT
Heat-related illness can occur in both indoor and outdoor environments. Recognizing the risks and understanding how heat impacts the body is key to maintaining safe conditions.

✋ OWN IT
Know the symptoms, including confusion, dizziness, fatigue, and excessive sweating. Stay hydrated, follow proper work practices, and be mindful of how your body responds to heat throughout your shift.

📋 FIX IT
Take breaks as needed, especially in cooler areas, and check in on your coworkers regularly. If symptoms appear, notify your supervisor immediately and take action to cool down and recover.
