Ellie Fund is a Massachusetts-based organization that provides essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery, and healing. Its services include grocery gift cards, nutritious prepared/delivered meals, transportation to medical appointments, childcare reimbursement, housekeeping, and integrative therapy services, free of charge. Any patient with breast cancer receiving treatment in Massachusetts is eligible for Ellie Fund services.

"Throughout the first weekend of October 2026, businesses there made donations and put up pink decorations and posters as part of the October for Ellie campaign. I soon realized that for the women I was talking to, they didn’t have to imagine what it was like to have breast cancer; all they had to do was remember it. Five of their group had lost their mothers to it. Others have tangled with breast cancer personally. And they’re not alone."

💗 Today is National Mammography Day

Mammograms can find breast cancer at stage 0 or stage 1, often before you can feel anything.

At those early stages, the 5-year survival rate is 99% or higher.

That's the power of early detection. Set a reminder to schedule your mammogram, and tag someone you care about who may need the reminder too!
