Last week, the Greencroft Communities HR team hosted our annual Fall Leadership Meeting, bringing together leaders and team members from all 9 of our campuses across the Midwest! It was a wonderful day filled with connection, inspiration, and appreciation for the incredible people who make our communities such special places to live and work. ❤️

Throughout the day, we heard important updates from our senior executives, celebrated the hard work and dedication of our teams, and shined a spotlight on the outstanding individuals and special teams making a difference across each campus.

We were also fortunate to hear from guest speakers who shared inspiring stories, valuable insights, and encouragement to help us continue growing as leaders.

Every person plays an important role in our mission, and this meeting was a meaningful opportunity to recognize those contributions and celebrate all that we accomplish together!

A huge THANK YOU to our HR team for all the time, effort, and care that went into making this year's Fall Leadership Meeting another memorable and meaningful event! 👏🌟

Meet Bill, a Chicago Trail Village resident whose journey brought him from Bremen to Arizona and eventually back home to Indiana! After spending 35 years working for the Arizona Department of Transportation, Bill retired and decided he was ready to trade the Arizona heat for the peace and quiet of home. 🏡

At Chicago Trail Village, Bill has found the maintenance-free lifestyle he was looking for, with the freedom to enjoy life his own way while still connecting with neighbors.

When he’s not enjoying the quiet, you can often find Bill checking out car shows! He’s always loved the mechanics behind cars, especially hot rods. One example of his taste? He owned a 2005 Dodge Magnum with a turbocharger! 🏁

We’re so glad Bill chose Hamilton Grove and Chicago Trail Village as home. Thanks for being part of our community, Bill! 💚

October is National Physical Therapy Month, a time to highlight the important role physical therapy can play in helping people stay strong, mobile, and active throughout every stage of life.

For people living with Parkinson’s disease, movement can sometimes become more challenging. Physical therapy can help address things like strength, balance, walking, mobility, and maintaining independence, giving individuals tools and strategies to keep moving and participating in the activities they enjoy. 💪

This National Physical Therapy Month, let’s celebrate the professionals who help people move better, stay active, and work toward their goals.

Every step matters. And physical therapy can help. 💚

💚🏆 Celebrating Excellence at Greencroft Communities!

Last week, we gathered for our Annual Board Dinner at the Studebaker National Museum in South Bend—a wonderful setting to reflect on our legacy, celebrate the past year, and look ahead to the future! A special thank-you to the Greencroft Foundation, our team members, and volunteers who helped make this evening possible. ✨

We were proud to recognize several communities for their outstanding work!

🌟 Two Innovation Award Winners!

Congratulations to Oak Grove for its Grand Rounds program, bringing clinical leaders and frontline caregivers together to strengthen communication and improve resident care.

We also congratulate Greencroft Goshen for The Guber, a resident-focused transportation service that has grown from 24 rides per month in 2023 to 199 rides per month today! Powered by resident volunteers and now free for all residents thanks to a corporate sponsor 🚌💚

These achievements remind us that meaningful progress happens when people work together, think creatively, and keep residents at the heart of every decision.

Congratulations to all our award recipients, including Beth Ingram and the Oak Grove team, and Kim Harden and her team at Greencroft Goshen! Here’s to another year of innovation, collaboration, and making a difference across our communities. 💚

Every Tuesday at 10 AM, residents at Chicago Trail Village (CTV) at Hamilton Grove gather for a little rhythm, movement, and LOTS of fun! 🎶✨

Cardio Drumming is a great way to get moving, enjoy some upbeat music, and share plenty of laughs with friends. It’s always a lively time, and we love seeing everyone join in and have a blast! 😄💪

At Hamilton Grove, staying active is even better when you make it fun and do it together! 💙
