Thanks to the generosity of fellow team members, residents, and supporters, more than $33,000 was distributed in 2025 to help with emergency expenses like medical bills, utility shutoffs, car repairs, and unexpected caregiving responsibilities.

With 102 apartments spread across cozy buildings of four to six units each, Chicago Trail Village offers a quiet, close-knit atmosphere where neighbors quickly become friends. 🏡✨

Several apartments are specially designed for individuals with handicapping conditions, helping residents feel safe, comfortable, and right at home!

Our residents absolutely LOVE it—and while it’s all in good fun, the competition can definitely heat up once those numbers start getting called! 👀🎱

From excited cheers to playful debates over who called “Bingo!” first, this popular activity always brings plenty of laughter, joy, and unforgettable moments to the group. Most importantly, it’s a wonderful way for residents to come together, socialize, and enjoy time with friends. 💙

At Hamilton Grove, activities like Bingo are about so much more than winning—they help build community, create connections, and fill the day with smiles.

And yes… the bragging rights are VERY real around here. 😉💚

Last week, our residents turned treasured brooches into beautiful works of art by arranging them into unique designs and displaying them in elegant glass frames. The finished pieces were as meaningful as they were beautiful, showcasing both creativity and personal memories 💚

It’s always inspiring to see the imagination and artistic talent our residents bring to activities like these. Each framed creation was one-of-a-kind, reflecting the personality and creativity of the person who made it.

At Hamilton Grove, we love providing opportunities for residents to express themselves, try something new, and create keepsakes they'll be proud to display.

🦌🏕️ History came to life at Hamilton Grove!

Last week, we welcomed a very special guest to campus—Daniel Boone! Through an engaging historical presentation, he shared stories about his life, family, friends, hunting adventures, and what life was like on the American frontier. It was an unforgettable experience for everyone who attended! 😊

A huge thank you to Daniel for bringing history to life in such an entertaining and educational way. We also want to thank everyone who joined us and helped fill the room! It was wonderful to welcome not only our residents, but guests from New Carlisle, La Porte, South Bend, and communities all across Northern Indiana for this special event.

We love bringing unique programs like this to Hamilton Grove and creating opportunities for learning, laughter, and community connection. Here's to many more memorable events to come! 💙

Today is a day dedicated to celebrating the power of connection, volunteerism, and small acts of kindness. Together Tuesday shines a light on the everyday ways people make a difference in the lives of others.

Across our nine Greencroft Communities campuses, we are incredibly grateful for the volunteers who help make our communities stronger, warmer, and more welcoming places to live. 🌿

In Fiscal Year 2025, 623 volunteers served both on and off our campuses, contributing an amazing 70,195 volunteer hours. That generosity represents an estimated $1,185,000 in value to organizations and communities throughout the regions we call home. ✨

But today isn't just about numbers.

It's about the resident who welcomes a new neighbor. The volunteer who helps at an event. The friend who checks in on someone having a difficult day. The team member who goes the extra mile to brighten someone's morning. These small acts of kindness happen every single day throughout Greencroft Communities, and each one matters.

Together, they create stronger communities, deeper friendships, and a culture of caring that touches countless lives. And yes—they add up. 💚

To all of our volunteers, residents, staff, families, and community partners: thank you for the kindness, compassion, and generosity you share every day.
