For the past 10 years, Randy has called Chicago Trail Village at Hamilton Grove home. “I love the peace and quiet,” he says. That sense of peace is something many residents appreciate about Chicago Trail Village.

At Chicago Trail Village, Pat Waldo and her husband, Stephen Mott, turned concerns about food costs into a community effort that has provided thousands of pounds of nutritious food to older adults. Today, the Nourishing Seniors pantry continues to bring food, connection, and support to residents who need it most.

Our onsite chapel is a special place where residents can come together for reflection, worship, prayer, and peaceful moments throughout the week. It serves as a comforting space where many find strength, hope, and connection in their daily lives. 😊

Faith plays an important role in our community, and residents take part in a variety of faith-based activities that help nurture both spiritual growth and meaningful friendships. One of the most cherished gatherings is our Women’s Bible Study, where residents come together to share scripture, encouragement, and conversation in a warm and supportive environment.

These moments of faith and fellowship help create a strong sense of community, reminding us that no one walks alone at Hamilton Grove.

We are grateful for the many ways our residents live out their faith each day and for the chapel that brings us together in such a meaningful way. 💚

🎉🌺 45 YEARS OF CHICAGO TRAIL VILLAGE! 🌺🎉

Last week, Chicago Trail Village at Hamilton Grove celebrated an incredible milestone—45 years of community, friendship, memories, and fun! 💚

And what better way to celebrate than with an entire week of festivities? Every day brought a new theme, new activities, and plenty of opportunities for our residents to come together and celebrate what makes CTV such a special place to call home.

From Luaus to barbecues, talent shows to ice cream trucks, from reflecting on the past to looking to the future, everyday brought fun and incredible memories!

But the week was about more than activities. It was about celebrating 45 years of people—the residents, families, staff, volunteers, friends, and community partners who have helped make Chicago Trail Village what it is today. 💚

And we have to give a very special shoutout to some truly incredible people.

Pat Waldo, Steve Mott, Renee & David Millar—these are some of our most favorite people ever. ❤️ They are so incredibly good to our community, and we couldn't have made this week happen without their support, love, guidance, and time. The amount of time they give to CTV throughout the year is truly beyond words.

We are so grateful to have them as part of our CTV family. We couldn't be more blessed. 🥹💙
