Three days. Two certifications. One unforgettable experience.

This week, our founder and CEO, Angela, spent three days at the Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care headquarters in Hillsborough, NC, learning alongside an amazing community of professionals, and RAL Room members (The RAL Room Assisted Living Mastermind) dedicated to improving the lives of those living with brain changes and the people who care for them.

During the training, Angela learned how to begin integrating the PAC philosophy and techniques throughout Legacy Pines Assisted Living & Memory Care.

This is just the beginning. Our long-term goal is to become a PAC Certified Community, ensuring our team continues to provide compassionate, person-centered dementia care grounded in understanding, connection, and dignity.

I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity to learn, grow, and bring this knowledge back to our residents, families, and team. Every step forward helps us provide even better care to seniors and those living with brain change.

Hi, I’m Angela. 👋

I’m the owner of Legacy Pines Assisted Living & Memory Care, an Occupational Therapist, and a Certified Dementia Care Practitioner. More importantly, I’m a wife, mom of two, and someone who truly believes that every older adult deserves to be known, valued, and cared for with dignity.

I started Legacy Pines because I couldn’t find the kind of senior living I would want for my own family.

Instead of a large institutional facility, I envisioned a place that feels like home—a place where caregivers know each resident’s favorite breakfast, life story, and daily routines. Where families know exactly who’s caring for their loved one. Where relationships matter just as much as clinical care.

Today, Legacy Pines is a small, home-like assisted living and memory care community on seven peaceful acres in New Richmond, Wisconsin. With just eight residents, we’re able to provide truly personalized care, consistent caregivers, and a calm environment where people can continue living with purpose and joy.

On this page, you’ll find:

* Behind-the-scenes life at Legacy Pines
* Dementia care education and tips
* Resources for family caregivers
* Stories that celebrate aging with dignity
* Updates from our residents, team, and community

Whether you’re caring for a loved one with dementia, beginning your search for assisted living, or simply following along, I’m so glad you’re here.

Welcome to the Legacy Pines family. 💚

Community outings are about so much more than getting out of the house. They help reduce isolation, spark conversation and memories, & provide meaningful sensory experiences.

Thank you, Jon, for helping create moments that matter! ❤️
