Leslie’s life began through surrogacy. She was the baby who was carried by a surrogate, and now, years later, she is growing her own family as an intended parent through surrogacy.

Her journey is a beautiful reminder of the lasting impact surrogacy can have across generations. What once gave her the gift of life is now helping her experience the joy of becoming a parent herself.

A lot of surrogacy can feel like a constant “hurry up and wait.” 🤍

There are moments where things move quickly, and others where it feels like you’re waiting forever for the next step. But so much of this process takes time for a reason. Every step, every screening, every legal document, every medical clearance is there to make sure no part of the journey is rushed.

The waiting can be hard, but it’s all part of building a safe, ethical, and supported journey for everyone involved. ✨

At Alcea, patriotism isn’t about believing our country has always gotten everything right.

It’s believing we’re capable of becoming more compassionate, more inclusive, and more committed to ensuring every person is treated with dignity and respect.

Today, we’re celebrating an America that values education, embraces science, protects personal freedoms, welcomes families of every kind, and continues striving toward liberty and justice for all.

We know there’s still work to do, and we’re not interested in pretending everything is perfect. We believe freedom, safety, and the opportunity to build the family you dream of should be real, protected, and accessible to everyone.

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we’re grateful for the families, surrogates, egg donors, intended parents, and partners who remind us every day what hope, courage, and community look like.

“Alcea Surrogacy sent me the cutest stuff. Package one had a puffy sweatshirt. You can never have to many sweatshirts! A big bag that is gonna get loved to death. A magnetic battery pack...also going to get mega use and a pill organizer. Such awesome goodies.

Package 2 had all my labor and postpartum love things. A super soft waffle robe. At first I was a little disappointed cuz it didnt have their logo and I want to rock my representation.....well, it did. It was just embroidered on the pocket and discrete. There was also a super cute bar necklace that says Bloom where you’re planted, and a freida postpartum kit. All super thoughtful amazing things. Oh and a surrogate door hanger which I didn’t get to use cuz Lil man came early but would have totally been used!”

Hearing how meaningful these thoughtful touches were truly means so much to us 🤍
