Earlier this year, headlines announced universal healthcare in Mexico. Join us to peek behind the scenes to learn about the Mexican health system’s history, politics, and policies, and discuss if and how our neighbor to the south will be able to achieve what the headlines claimed. Are there lessons we can apply to the US fight for universal healthcare?

RSVP HERE bit.ly/26SEP22 for PNHP NY Metro’s first forum of the fall happening TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 22nd at 7:30pm.

If we had passed the NY Health Act / Medicare for All, every 9/11 survivor like Marcy Borders would have gotten the free care they need without medical debt.
Every New Yorker would.

We still can.

Fantastic action in the Bronx yesterday demanding NO MORE CRUMBS! Food, housing & healthcare for ALL!
We distributed supplies & connected our neighbors with info & resources to find housing, food & healthcare services within our broken system.
Impacted community members led a street theater performance of an original skit “Safety Net Power: The Big Ugly Bill & How to Fight Back!”, and Songs in the Key of Resistance singers led us in group song.

Thanks to our dedicated organizers & volunteers & collaborating organizations
