If you’ve ever left a prenatal appointment thinking, “I still have so many questions,” you’re not imagining it.

The truth is, most OB-GYNs are doing the best they can within a system that was never designed to meet all of the needs of pregnancy.

Pregnancy isn’t just blood pressure, fundal height, and lab work.

It’s nutrition.
It’s mental health.
It’s relationships.
It’s work accommodations.
It’s insurance.
It’s preparing for birth.
It’s getting ready for a newborn.
It’s navigating a body and a life that are changing every single day.

The problem isn’t that providers don’t care.

The problem is that there simply isn’t enough time, enough resources, or enough support built into the system to provide everything patients deserve.

That’s the gap I created The Pregnancy Coach to fill.

Not to replace your medical team.
To complement it.

To give you evidence-based education, personalized guidance, and ongoing support between appointments so you can move through pregnancy feeling informed, confident, and cared for.

Because pregnancy deserves more than a series of rushed appointments.

It deserves a village. 💛

The moment you find out you’re pregnant, the advice starts pouring in. Suddenly there are baby registry checklists, books about labor, hospital bag guides, newborn sleep schedules, and apps that tell you how big your baby is each week. Everyone is focused on preparing you for the baby, but very few people stop to ask who’s preparing you for pregnancy.

Who’s helping you navigate the uncertainty between appointments? Who’s answering the questions that pop into your head late at night? Who’s reminding you that it’s completely normal to feel excited, overwhelmed, grateful, anxious, and everything in between?

Pregnancy isn’t just a countdown to delivery. It’s a season of becoming. You’re becoming a mother, learning to trust yourself, making countless decisions, and experiencing one of the biggest transitions of your life.

That journey deserves more than a checklist.

It deserves guidance. It deserves support. It deserves someone in your corner.

That’s why I created DoulaDoc and Pregnancy Coach. Not to hand you another book or another list, but to walk alongside you through your pregnancy with evidence-based guidance, reassurance, and support every step of the way.

Because every mother deserves more than information.

She deserves someone who has time for her.

💛 What’s one thing you wish someone had prepared you for during pregnancy?

Here’s what nobody tells you: the gaps in prenatal care aren’t your provider’s fault. It’s structural. They’re stretched thin across thirty other things, and the system rewards volume, not connection.
ACOG’s guidelines are clear on what prenatal care should include: nutrition counseling, exercise guidance, medication reviews, birth prep, breastfeeding support, preeclampsia education, postpartum planning, and real conversations about your preferences.
So here’s the question: how many of those actually happened at your appointments?
This is exactly why I built The Pregnancy Coach. To fill in what’s missing. To be the continuous support you deserve from the moment you see that positive test, through pregnancy, and into the fourth trimester. To translate medical information into your actual life, answer your specific questions without making you feel like a burden, and make you feel less alone.
Prenatal care doesn’t have to look like this. It can be different.
Like, follow, and share if your prenatal care deserves better.

One of the biggest misconceptions about pregnancy is that you’re supposed to love every minute of it.

That you’ll immediately feel excited.

That you’ll glow.

That you’ll cherish every symptom because “it’s all worth it.”

The truth?

Pregnancy can be beautiful and incredibly hard at the same time.

You can feel grateful for your baby and overwhelmed by the changes happening in your body.

You can be excited about becoming a parent and anxious about what lies ahead.

You can love your pregnancy one day and struggle through it the next.

None of those feelings make you ungrateful.

They make you human.

One of the things I’m most passionate about is creating space for honest conversations about pregnancy. A space where you don’t feel judged for your questions, your fears, or your emotions.

Because support isn’t just about answering medical questions.

It’s about helping you feel seen, validated, and cared for throughout your pregnancy.

You don’t have to pretend everything is okay if it isn’t.

And you don’t have to navigate those feelings alone.

That’s the heart behind DoulaDoc.

Pregnancy shouldn’t require you to settle for the bare minimum.

You deserve more than making it to your next appointment. You deserve care that sees you as a whole person.

You deserve:
🤍 Access to quality care
🤍 Providers who listen
🤍 A coordinated care team
🤍 Evidence-based education so you can make informed decisions
🤍 Mental health support alongside physical care
🤍 Compassionate, trauma-informed care
🤍 Support that continues beyond 6 weeks postpartum
🤍 A community that surrounds you through pregnancy, birth, and parenthood

And beyond healthcare, you deserve the things that make healthy pregnancies possible: affordable care, paid family leave, safe housing, reliable transportation, nutritious food, childcare, and workplaces that support growing families.

These aren’t luxuries.
They’re not “extras.”
They’re the foundation of the care every patient deserves.

This is the future I believe is possible, and it’s the future I’m working to build through DoulaDoc.

If you believe pregnancy care can and should be better, follow along. We’re just getting started.

I’d love to hear from you. What’s one thing you wish every pregnant patient had access to?

It’s 9:47 PM.

You’re 11 weeks pregnant.

You notice a new symptom.

You start wondering...

Is this normal?

Should I call my provider?

Am I overreacting?

You open Google.

Twenty minutes later, you’re somehow convinced it’s either completely normal... or a medical emergency.

Sound familiar?

One of the hardest parts of pregnancy isn’t always the appointments.

It’s everything that happens between them.

The questions that pop up on a Tuesday night.

The decisions that don’t feel big enough for an appointment but are too important to ignore.

The reassurance you wish you had.

That’s why I created Pregnancy Coach.

Imagine having an OB/GYN in your corner throughout your pregnancy. Someone you can message with questions, someone who knows your story, and someone who can provide evidence-based guidance when you need it most.

Because support shouldn’t end when your appointment does.

When people talk about pregnancy, they usually talk about the physical changes.

The growing belly.
The morning sickness.
The cravings.

But one of the biggest challenges I see isn’t physical.

It’s mental.

It’s constantly wondering:

“Is this symptom normal?”

“Should I call my provider?”

“What can I eat?”

“Am I making the right decision?”

“Should I be worried?”

It’s carrying dozens of questions that don’t always fit into a 15-minute appointment.

That mental load can feel exhausting.

And it can leave you feeling like you’re supposed to figure it all out on your own.

The truth is, you were never meant to.

You deserve someone who has time to answer your questions, help you sort through the noise, and remind you that you don’t have to navigate pregnancy alone.

That’s exactly why I created Pregnancy Coach.

Because pregnancy isn’t just about caring for your body.

It’s about supporting your mind, your confidence, and your peace of mind, too.

One of the hardest things about pregnancy is the expectation that you’re supposed to feel nothing but excitement.

The truth is, pregnancy can bring joy, gratitude, fear, uncertainty, grief, anxiety, and overwhelm. Sometimes all in the same day.

Maybe this pregnancy was planned, but the reality feels different than you imagined.

Maybe you’ve experienced loss before and you’re afraid to get attached.

Maybe you’re navigating infertility, a high-risk pregnancy, relationship challenges, financial stress, or simply the enormous life change that comes with becoming a parent.

Or maybe... you just don’t feel excited yet.

All of those feelings are valid.

There is no “right” way to feel when you find out you’re pregnant.

Your connection to your baby may grow gradually. Your confidence may take time. Your excitement may come in small moments rather than all at once.

None of that makes you a bad mother.

Pregnancy is an emotional transition, not just a physical one.

If you’re carrying emotions that feel heavy, confusing, or different from what you expected, know this: you don’t have to carry them alone. Talk to your provider, lean on someone you trust, and give yourself permission to experience this season honestly.

There is room for hope, even if it doesn’t show up on day one.

One of the biggest misconceptions about pregnancy is that it’s only about growing a healthy baby.

Of course that’s important.

But pregnancy is also about growing into a mother.

It’s learning to trust your instincts.

It’s making decisions you’ve never had to make before.

It’s discovering what kind of support you need and finding the confidence to ask for it.

It’s realizing that taking care of yourself is one of the first ways you take care of your baby.

As an OB/GYN, I spend a lot of time talking about ultrasounds, lab work, blood pressure, and baby growth.

But some of the most meaningful conversations I have are about fear, confidence, relationships, expectations, and the emotional transition into motherhood.

Because those things matter too.

A healthy pregnancy isn’t just measured by what happens in the exam room.

It’s measured by how supported you feel throughout the journey.

And that’s something every parent deserves.

If you’re looking for more personalized support during your pregnancy, I’d love to walk alongside you.

Pregnancy comes with a mental load that no one really prepares you for.

The appointments.
The decisions.
The symptoms.
The endless Google searches.
The questions you remember five minutes after leaving your provider’s office.

You shouldn’t have to carry all of that alone.

That’s why I created The Pregnancy Coach.

This isn’t another online course or pregnancy app. It’s private, 1:1 mentorship designed to walk alongside you throughout your pregnancy.

You’ll have direct access to me for your questions, personalized guidance based on your pregnancy, trimester coaching calls, birth preparation, evidence-based education, and postpartum support because your care shouldn’t end the day your baby is born.

My goal isn’t just to help you have a healthy pregnancy.

It’s to help you feel confident, informed, and genuinely supported every step of the way.

Because every pregnant woman deserves someone in her corner.

If you’re looking for personalized pregnancy support that goes beyond traditional prenatal care, I’d love to walk this journey with you.
