This isn't about fixing the relationship with your mother. It's about healing the patterns that have been running your life.

Many people are still carrying the little girl(boy) who longed to feel safe, seen, and deeply loved.

Join us for a powerful half-day equine and nervous system healing experience to explore the mother wound and begin reclaiming safety and self-trust within.

Our earliest relationship with our mother often shapes how safe we feel in the world — and within ourselves.

For many people, the nervous system quietly carries the imprint of that relationship. Sometimes this shows up as people-pleasing, overgiving, difficulty trusting ourselves, or a lingering sense that we must earn love, approval, or belonging.

These imprints can form through our
relationship with our mother — whether that relationship felt complicated or emotionally challenging, or whether the loss of your mother left grief, longing, or unmet needs still living in the body.

Many people are still carrying the younger part of themselves who longed to feel seen, safe, and deeply loved.

This powerful half-day experience offers a compassionate space to explore and begin healing these patterns through a unique combination of equine therapy and nervous system healing.

Why Horses?

Horses are incredibly attuned to emotional energy and nervous system states.

They often mirror relational patterns around trust, boundaries, emotional safety, and connection — offering profound insight into how we show up in relationships with ourselves and others.

Through guided equine exercises, you may begin to notice patterns that have lived beneath the surface and gain new awareness about what your body has been holding.

No horse experience is necessary and there will be NO riding.

All interactions with the horses take place safely from the ground.

During this experience you will:

🐎 Mindfully observe and interact with horses through guided equine exercises
🐎 Reflect on emotional responses and body sensations that arise
🐎 Explore attachment patterns related to the mother wound

If your healing journey feels messy right now, watch this. Healing is not all rainbows and butterflies. There are times it feels really fn hard. Not to punish you. Not because you are doing something wrong. Because you are being asked to face and feel the things you have been avoiding. If you can release all expectations of what it should look like and trust the process, you may find things shift in ways you could’ve never predicted!

The state of your nervous system shapes the motive behind your actions.

You can chase the exact same dream from two very different places.

One nervous system is organized around proving:

“If I succeed, then I’ll be enough.”
“If I don’t fail, maybe I’ll be loved.”
“If I achieve more, maybe I’ll finally feel worthy.”

The other is organized around something entirely different.

“I already know I am worthy.”
“I already know I am enough.”

From that place, your dreams are no longer about proving your value.

They’re about expressing it.

You’re not building a business to earn love.
You’re not speaking to convince people you matter.

You’re allowing your life to become an expression of who you already are.

That’s the difference.

The state of your nervous system doesn’t just influence what you do.

It shapes why you do it.

And when the “why” changes…

everything changes.

Are you a cycle breaker?

In May 2025 I went to Kripalu for the first time.

I was called into deep ancestral healing in my maternal lineage.

I had done some ancestral healing with different modalities over the years, but this felt different.

I believe the mother/daughter relationship can be one of the most complex relationship there is.

People just assume you are best friends, and if you aren't there is something wrong. Even if that is true, that doesn't mean there aren't times of great pain, heartbreak, betrayal, anger, and resentment.

The first morning I was there sitting in meditation outside, it all came to me. I was going to work with one of the trees on the land. I instantly knew which one.

I was guided to create the "ancestral tree" on paper as one way of working with the energy.

After that was created, I went to the tree that was calling me.

I stood at the trunk with my hands reaching out.

I instantly felt all the women that had come before me at my back, and the ones that come after me at my front.

I sobbed as a I felt the cycles of disconnection, heartbreak, resentment, betrayal, and grief.

I accepted my role as a cycle breaker. It's not an easy role to be in.

Highly uncomfortable.
Thankless.
Inconvenient.

As I stood there, I called upon the healing that the trees and land were offering. The symbolism of healing the "roots" of the ancestral tree in the physical roots of the tree at my feet.

It was profound and hard to put into words.

Fast forward to the conversation Suzanne MacPhail (Equine Therapist) and I were having about collaborating. I mentioned Healing The Mother Wound and she instantly agreed. It was totally aligned.

I share all of this because I have chosen to take some of my most painful moments and challenges, and not only heal myself, but seek ways to hold space for other's to heal.

That's why offering Healing The Mother Wound is not "just" another offering or workshop, it's part of my life's work.

I am honored to be doing this with Suzanne, and the horses (Otto and Liam), as I saw the shifts that happened at the first one.

In a world where you can find a million ways to regulate your nervous system with the click of a button, I’d like to offer a different perspective.

Sometimes what we call “nervous system regulation” is actually an attempt to control our body because we don’t like what it’s feeling.

We breathe so the anxiety will go away.
We meditate so the discomfort will stop.
We distract ourselves so we don’t have to feel what’s underneath.

The problem isn’t the tools.

The question is why we’re using them.

Are they helping us build trust with our body?

Or are they helping us avoid what our body is trying to tell us?

After more than 20 years of helping people heal their nervous systems, I’ve found that lasting healing doesn’t come from winning a battle against your body.

It comes from developing a relationship with it.

From curiosity instead of control.
From inquiry instead of judgment.
From connection instead of resistance.

What is your body trying to communicate?

What has activated this response?

What doesn’t feel safe right now?

What pattern is asking to be seen?

What might need to change in your life, your relationships, your boundaries, or the way you care for yourself?

Your body is not your enemy.

More often than not, it’s carrying wisdom that you’ve been taught to ignore.

The goal isn’t to get your body to calm down.

The goal is to understand why it doesn’t feel safe enough to.

I help people recover the parts of themselves that survival mode convinced them to abandon.

I help uncover where someone’s life force has become trapped beneath layers of stress, trauma, and conditioning, then support their nervous system in remembering how to access more energy, creativity, intuition, and authentic self-expression.

The side effects may include:

✨ Unexpected life changes
✨ Stronger boundaries
✨ Reduced tolerance for bs
✨ Increased trust in yourself
✨ A strange desire to finally live your purpose

Most people think healing is about getting rid of symptoms.

What I’ve found after working with thousands of nervous systems is that healing is often about unwinding the patterns that have kept you stuck in survival mode.

Because underneath the people-pleasing…
Underneath the overgiving…
Underneath the hypervigilance…
Underneath the constant doing…

There is a version of you that already knows who they are.

A version that doesn’t need to abandon themselves to feel safe.
A version that doesn’t need to earn their worth.
A version that trusts themselves.

My job isn’t to fix you.

It’s to create the conditions for your nervous system to remember what has always been there.

If you’re curious about Network Spinal and what becomes possible when your nervous system begins operating from safety instead of survival, I’d love to connect.

I don’t offer Network Spinal Chiropractic because healing the nervous system is a health trend. I offer it because it saved my life.

Unwinding patterns of survival from my nervous system brought me face to face with what I had been unknowingly running from.

In May 2018, I had just offered my first ever weekend retreat at a gorgeous house on Salisbury Beach. My business had been building momentum. At this time, I was on hiatus from chiropractic, I was working with the nervous system, but using a different modality, and offering Akashic record readings.

Memorial Day weekend that year, I set off to the Omega Institute in New York to attend a program Kyle Cease was leading. He’s a transformational comedian.

I was feeling on top of the world. I had been following Kyle Cease since 2012 when he was an MC at an event I went to in Orlando.

I was driving on the highway, and started to feel a wave of panic move through me. I was no stranger to panic attacks or them happening while I was driving on the highway.

The highway and I had a long history of trauma.

My father figure from age 4-17 would drive like a race car driver weaving in and out of cars going speeds I was not aware of because I would close my eyes, and hold my breath. I thought I was going to die too many times to count.

Then there was the time I was a passenger in a car driving to go white water rafting for the weekend when the driver fell asleep while going 90mph. As I glanced over to see her eyes closed, I screamed, and she lost control of the car. We spun around in circles through the median, and ended up in on coming traffic. Thank God there were no cars that hit us.

Back to the trip to Omega. When I felt that wave of panic, I was hoping it would be just a blip.

As I continued on my trip, there was a point where lanes were merging, and I felt this feeling of being trapped and completely out of control. The energy that surged through my body felt like a volcano was erupting.

This particular trigger was from the suppressed childhood s*xual abuse that came to the surface in 2010.

One of the biggest keys to healing isn’t doing more.

It’s finally becoming willing to stop running.

Most people don’t realize they’re running because it looks productive on the surface.

They’re constantly busy.
Always checking things off the list.
Always taking care of everyone else.
Always moving toward the next thing.

But underneath that constant motion can be grief that hasn’t been felt.
Heartbreak that hasn’t been processed.
Anger that has been suppressed.
Shame that has been carried for years.

The nervous system is incredibly intelligent.

When emotions don’t feel safe to experience, the body often finds ways to contain them. Over time, that can show up as chronic tension, pain, exhaustion, autoimmune challenges, anxiety, or symptoms that never seem to fully resolve.

Healing isn’t always about finding the next solution.

Sometimes it’s about creating enough safety within yourself to finally feel what you’ve been avoiding.

Because what we are willing to face no longer has to control us.

If this resonates with you and you’re ready to explore what patterns may be keeping your body stuck in survival mode, I offer complimentary consultations.
