Some cats hate going to the vet. NOT Wilson! He had never been here before and came to us for same day surgery to remove an intestinal foreign body. Because Newtown Vet has experienced surgeons able to perform procedures many general practitioners no longer do, Murphy avoided a trip to the ER and his dad avoided specialist prices! Foreign body removal from small intestine is not inexpensive but one phone call to see if we had a surgeon available most likely saved dad 50% or more!

In the season of thanks and giving, we pause to thank those who allow us to do the amazing work we do! Our team makes us who we are.

One of our core values is Community. We serve the members of our community who come to our facility, educate the broader community of pet owners through outreach and community events and especially this time of year we support pets with no owners and look for some way to support humans in need.

Pet Fair 2025 raised over $5,000 that will be distributed to the rescue groups and animal non-profits who attended the event!

To date we have raised over $1,000 to support Canine Support Teams, Inc selling plants that Tim Ireland VMD has lovingly cultivated and propagated! (Dr. I serves on their board) CST is a service dog organization that in 2025 placed more than 3/4 of their specially trained service dogs with disabled veterans free of charge! With federal freezes on previously acquired grants, CST is facing a HUGE budget deficit in 2026.(High six figures huge!) Plants will continue to be available through the end of the year and are on display in our lobby through the end if the year if you need any last minute gifts or don't want to show up someplace empty handed! Make a donation to CST and take a plant home! 100% of proceeds go directly to CST.

And this year our table overflows with dry goods heading to Family Service Association of Bucks County in support of the tremendous work they do in service of those in need! We will be collecting dry goods through the end of the year!

Why don’t cats play poker in the jungle? Too many cheetahs.

What do you call a pile of cats? A meow-tain.

What kind of dog can do magic? A labracadabrador.

Why did the dog sit in the shade? Because he didn’t want to be a hot dog.

Why did the cat get kicked out of the computer lab? It kept chasing the mouse.

What do you get when you cross a dog and a calculator? A friend you can count on.

Why was the cat sitting on the computer? To keep an eye on the mouse.

🐕‍🦺 Got a better one? Drop it in the comments and show us you’re the real purrfessional comedian.
