Grief doesn’t follow a straight line 〰️

You may have heard of the “5 stages of grief” ✨denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance ✨ originally introduced by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross. But in real life, these stages aren’t steps you check off one by one.

You might move back and forth between them.
You might skip some entirely.
You might feel several all at once.

Grief is not a checklist but a deeply personal process.

Whether you’re grieving a loved one, a relationship, your health, or a version of your life you thought you’d have… your experience is valid.

There is no “right” way to grieve.
Only your way.

If you’ve ever found yourself dreading bedtime, you’re not being dramatic- you’re likely stuck in a cycle your brain learned over time.

Insomnia isn’t just about sleep. It’s often connected to anxiety, stress, and the pressure we put on ourselves to “get it right.” The more we try to force sleep, the more our bodies stay alert.

That’s where CBT-I comes in.

Instead of quick fixes, CBT-I helps you understand why your sleep has been disrupted and gives you tools to rebuild a more trusting relationship with rest.

Self-harm is often misunderstood. For many, it began as a way to manage overwhelming emotions, numbness, trauma, or internal chaos. That doesn’t make someone weak. It means they were doing the best they could with the tools they had at the time.

Healing isn’t about shame.
It’s about building new tools in a space that feels safe.
