💔 Ovo je jedan od najtežih dijelova mog posla…

Srce mi se slomi kada me neko nazove jer mu hitno treba zdravstveno osiguranje, a onda moram objasniti da je period za upis završen i da, nažalost, ne ispunjava uslove za poseban period upisa.

I ne govorim samo o starijim ljudima. Sve češće govorimo i o mladim ljudima koji se iznenada suoče sa ozbiljnom bolešću, moždanim ili srčanim udarom, dijagnozom, operacijom ili boravkom u bolnici. Tada shvate koliko im je zdravstveno osiguranje potrebno — ali ponekad je već kasno da se jednostavno upišu.

Znam da zdravstveno osiguranje u nekim slučajevima može biti skupo. Ali moramo početi stavljati SEBE i svoje zdravlje među prioritete.

Nađemo novac za restorane, kupovinu, telefone, putovanja, markiranu odjeću, obuću i mnoge druge stvari. A ono što štiti naše zdravlje, porodicu i finansijsku budućnost često ostavimo za kasnije.

Nemojte čekati da vas život natjera da shvatite koliko je zdravlje dragocjeno. ❤️

Zdravstveno osiguranje. Životno osiguranje. Planiranje dugoročne njege. Možda nisu najuzbudljivije stvari na koje trošimo novac, ali jednog dana mogu postati među najvažnijim odlukama koje smo donijeli za sebe i ljude koje volimo.

💔 This is one of the hardest parts of what I do…

My heart truly breaks when someone calls me desperately needing health insurance, only to find out that Open Enrollment is closed and they don’t qualify for a Special Enrollment Period.

And I’m not only talking about older people. I’m getting calls about young people too—people facing serious illnesses, strokes, heart attacks, unexpected diagnoses, surgeries, and hospital stays. Unfortunately, sometimes they start looking for coverage only after something has already happened.

🙏I understand. Health insurance can be expensive, especially for some families. But we have to start making OURSELVES a priority.🫣🙏

We find room in our budgets for eating out, shopping, entertainment, phones, vacations, brand-name clothes and shoes, and so many other things. Yet our health and financial protection can easily get pushed to the bottom of the list.

“7-PAY” DOES NOT MEAN YOUR POLICY IS ONLY FOR 7 YEARS!

So what does 7-Pay actually mean — and why would someone use it?

A 7-Pay strategy may be used to fund a permanent life insurance policy more aggressively during the early years, rather than spreading contributions over many years.

Why might someone consider it? Potentially to build cash value sooner, reduce the need for planned premiums later, and keep long-term life insurance protection—depending on how the policy is designed and performs.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: “7-Pay” can also refer specifically to the IRS 7-pay test, which determines whether a policy becomes a Modified Endowment Contract (MEC). That is why proper policy design and funding limits matter.

7 years of funding ≠ 7 years of coverage.

Don’t just buy a policy. Understand what you own.

Šta zapravo znači 7-Pay i zašto bi neko izabrao ovu opciju?

Zašto? U zavisnosti od vrste i dizajna police, cilj može biti brže stvaranje novčane vrijednosti, smanjenje potrebe za planiranim uplatama kasnije i zadržavanje dugoročne zaštite.

Today, my heart goes out to every family who lost someone they loved, to the heroes who ran toward danger, and to everyone whose life was forever changed on September 11, 2001.

Days like today remind us just how precious and unpredictable life truly is. None of us knows what tomorrow will bring.
