Last week, the Eggleston team was proud to support VersAbility Resources “Hidden Talents” Annual Fundraising Gala! ✨

It was an inspiring evening celebrating inclusion, opportunity, and the incredible impact of mission-driven organizations throughout our community. We were especially inspired by keynote speaker Jessica Cox, the world’s first licensed armless pilot and a fourth-degree black belt in Taekwondo.

We’re honored to stand alongside fellow nonprofits working every day to strengthen our community and create opportunities for individuals of all abilities. 💙

💗🎀 Pink for a Purpose! 🎀💗

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, members of our Tanners Creek and Hearthside Day Support programs, along with staff, wore pink to show their support and help spread awareness. 💕

Together, we stand with those affected by breast cancer, honor survivors, and remember those we have lost. Every act of awareness, no matter how small, can make a difference. 💗

Building Bridges. Empowering Veterans. Strengthening Our Community.

Eggleston Services was proud to be represented by Warrior Bridge at a gathering hosted by the Portsmouth Military Officers Association, bringing military and community leaders together to discuss veterans’ transition to civilian life.

Through Warrior Bridge, a program of Eggleston Services, we provide career guidance, crisis support, and meaningful peer connections to help veterans thrive beyond military service.

Led by Ernest Quintana, Director of Veteran Services, the event emphasized the importance of connecting employers, donors, and community members to strengthen support for those who have served our country.

At Eggleston, honoring our veterans means standing beside them as they build their next chapter.

♻️💙 Every Wednesday, participants in Eggleston’s Ingleside Day Support Program take part in a meaningful community engagement activity at the Latter-day Saints Church, located at 4784 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.

Yesterday, they helped weave sleeping mats made from recycled grocery bags, which are then distributed to individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

The program is always in need of donated plastic grocery bags, and any contribution is greatly appreciated!
