Growth through independence, while promoting the understanding of inclusiveness within our community

SunHive Collective creates a safe and inviting space for young adults with disabilities (ages 18-30) to grow in their daily living, social, and transitional skills. Each person’s individual and unique abilities are cultivated and fostered through organic, hands-on experiences that help them to thrive in each area, while building meaningful relationships within the community. Our Vision includes {and is ever evolving}:
- Fostering a safe and encouraging environment, for every person encountered {yes, each and every day}
– Growth within each individual, based on their unique social and independent qualities.
– Developing meaningful, productive job skills with hands on experience.
– Partnering with programs within our community to help promote inclusiveness
and exposure to various areas of real life.
- Helping to create good humans, both with disabilities and without.

Things are getting SPOOKY around the Hive 🐝🕸️

🏆 FINAL SURVIVOR: KIRSTEN takes the crown! 👑👻Apparently, she’s got what it takes to make it to the end credits!

💀 FIRST TO GET CAUGHT: AZLAND 😱 Looks like Azland wouldn’t make it past the opening scene 😂

🐝💛 SOMETHING SWEET IS BUZZIN’ AT SUNHIVE 🧁🍪

We’ve got some EXCITING news from the Hive🐝✨

Meet Kyleigh from Girl Scout Troop 798 💚 She’s working toward earning her Girl Scout Silver Award, one of the highest honors a Girl Scout Cadette can achieve, and she’s chosen SunHive Collective to be part of her incredible journey 🥹💛

Introducing… 🥁 BAKING BEES 🐝👩‍🍳

Kyleigh is on a mission to make cooking more accessible, independent, and FUN for our SunHive members!

Through her project, she’s creating a picture-based cookbook with easy-to-follow recipes, color-coded measuring tools, and hands-on cooking activities that will help our members build confidence and independence in the kitchen 🍪🥣

And the SWEETEST part 🍯 These materials will stay right here at SunHive so our members can keep learning, creating, and whipping up something wonderful long after her project is complete 💛

🌻 WANT TO HELP KYLEIGH EARN HER SILVER AWARD?

You can support Baking Bees by donating toward supplies, sharing her project, or simply helping us spread the BUZZ 🐝

Because at SunHive, we believe a little kindness, a little creativity, and a whole lot of teamwork can make a BIG difference 🐝✨
