With warmer weather and more time spent outside, it’s important to make sure kids are staying hydrated. Children can become dehydrated more quickly than adults—especially during outdoor play, sports, and pool days.
🚩 Common signs of dehydration may include:
💧Dry lips or mouth
💧Dark yellow urine
💧Fewer wet diapers or bathroom trips
💧Headaches
💧Fatigue or low energy
💧Dizziness or irritability
Encourage water breaks throughout the day, especially during outdoor activities, and don’t wait until kids say they’re thirsty.
