🏆 Resident of the Month – June 🏆
At Aventura at Assumption Village, we are proud to recognize Walter Meub as our June Resident of the Month!

Walter was born in Youngstown, Ohio and graduated from Boardman High School before attending YSU. Throughout his career, he worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube and later Integrated Steel Systems in Chicago.

He and his wife Wendy married on December 12, 1970 and built a life together while raising their three children. Walter has lived in several places throughout his life including Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Richmond, Virginia.

In his free time, Walter enjoys golf and s***t shooting, and lives by the motto: “It will all work out.”

Residents at Aventura at Assumption Village enjoyed a beautiful day outside as the sun was shining and a warm breeze was blowing. What better way to take in the weather than relaxing on the patio with refreshing frosty treats and great company?

It was a simple but perfect afternoon filled with laughter, sunshine, and sweet moments together. 💙🌤️

By bringing local food trucks to our campus, we’re creating opportunities for staff, residents, families, and neighbors to enjoy great food, meaningful connections, and a stronger sense of community.

We invite our community to join us for delicious meals, friendly faces, and a fun atmosphere during our June Food Truck Days! Whether you’re visiting a loved one, supporting local businesses, or simply looking for a great lunch, we’d love to see you there.

The afternoon was made even more special by an outstanding performance from Lonnie G., who had everyone smiling, singing along, and enjoying the celebration. He is always a favorite here at Assumption Village, and once again delivered a fantastic show for our residents.

🍒☀️ Residents at Aventura at Assumption Village celebrated National Cherry Dessert Day by putting their culinary skills to work and making their very own delicious cherry roll ups! ❤️ From baking and creating to sharing smiles together, everyone had a wonderful time enjoying the sweet treats they made.
To make the day even better, residents relaxed and soaked up some sunshine out on the patio afterward. A perfect combination of fun, food, and beautiful weather! 😊
