Known for her caring nature, Kathy was a loyal friend who looked forward to taking the time to chat- she never turned down the opportunity for a good story. She possessed a thoughtful, methodical mind and approached both her profession and personal life with logic, compassion, and common sense. Family and friends often relied upon her sound judgment and steady perspective. Kathy also found great joy in gardening and birding and was an active member of the Northborough Garden Club, the Forbush Bird Club of Worcester, and the Brookline Bird Club. She and Jim were longtime members of Saint Rose of Lima Parish. She and Jim were rarely apart, sharing a partnership built on friendship, mutual respect, and enduring love. With sadness we share the June 3, 2026, passing of Kathleen M. (Berg) Hogan, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and longtime registered nurse from Northborough, Massachusetts. Please follow this link for Kathy's full life story and planned services.

This summer, we’re excited to launch a community-wide scavenger hunt featuring some of Northborough's local businesses.
Each week, we’ll place a small poster at a different location around town. We’ll share a clue on Facebook — and it’s up to you to figure out where it is!
Visit the correct business, and you could be entered to win that week’s prize.
It’s a fun way to:
• Explore local shops and restaurants
• Support small businesses
• Enjoy something different each week
• Stay connected in our community
Our first clue will be posted next week — stay tuned!

Annie decided her favorite spot was in the lobby at the building entrance. She loved the sun shining in the big south facing windows near the front door. She saw a need to help visitors enter by pressing the handicap button to have the door open before the visitor, delivery person or EMT would reach the entrance. She was dedicated to be there if at all possible every day for a couple hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon to do this job.
With condolences to her family, we share the May 29, 2026, passing of Annie C. King, at 99 years old. Please follow this link for Annie's life story and planned services.

Independent, determined, and endlessly curious, Josephine approached life with resilience and practicality. Her philosophy was simple: “Take life one day at a time, do the best you can, and move on.” She believed that every day was a gift from God and often reminded others to enjoy the good times and “deal with” the difficult ones because “this too shall pass.”

Josephine was deeply social and engaged with the world around her. She was known as a great listener who always gave sound advice.

Throughout her life, Josephine believed strongly in keeping both her mind and body active. She loved learning and took night classes simply for the joy of discovery. Using her hands and keen attention to detail, she worked as a hairdresser, soldered components at Raytheon, and went on to become a jewelry salesperson at Filene’s and Macy’s in Newton. After moving to Northborough, she used her jewelry background to help establish the jewelry cart at the local senior center.

With sincere condolences to her family, we share the May 11, 2026, passing of Josephine Mary (DiMauro) Napoli, aged 99 years, of Northborough, Massachusetts, previously of Newton and Lawrence, Mass. Please follow this link for Josephine's complete life story and planned funeral services.

Some days grief feels a little lighter. Other days it returns without warning, heavy and overwhelming. Both are part of healing. There is no timeline, no “right way,” and no set schedule for grief.

That’s why we keep resources here for moments like these — gentle readings, meaningful ways to honor memories, and quiet reminders that you do not have to carry this alone.

Support is here whenever you need it.

Kevin had a love for sports and was a true New England sports fan. A man of stature, his tall 6’7” frame could be intimidating—especially while doing what he loved most: umpiring baseball. Over more than 30 years as an umpire, Kevin became known for his fairness and accuracy behind the plate. He was a lifetime member of the Massachusetts Baseball Umpires Association. In addition to being a sports enthusiast, Kevin enjoyed karaoke and could often be found performing at the MCL in Worcester, where he was known as “Red.” Despite his height and presence, Kevin was known for his steady, easygoing manner and his kind and gentle spirit. Friends often referred to him as the “Gentle Giant” and the “Ultimate Gentleman.”

With sincere condolences to his family, we share the April 1, 2026, passing of Kevin J. Harrington, of Northborough, Massachusetts, at the age of 52 years old. Please follow this link for Kevin's life story and planned services.
