For this , we’re looking back at "Breathe In", an extraordinary artistic expression that illustrates the impact of human-centered .

By animating 64 individual captured in Yola, Nigeria, using MinXray's ultra-portable Impact Wireless system, creators Paulina Siniatkina and Johannes Hogebrink simulated a single, living breath and heart beat. While the synchronized rhythm of the diaphragm and heart symbolizes how we are all connected and have the same human anatomy, closer examination reveals the unique jewelry, clothing details, and personal characteristics of each individual screened with chest X-ray.

As Paulina points out, this project represents the recent steps forward witnessed in making more inclusive and person-centered. Advanced ultra-portable X-ray from MinXray ensures that life-saving diagnostic capabilities never come at the expense of cultural sensitivity and human dignity.

This week, our team is on Capitol Hill bringing our Impact Wireless portable digital radiography system to Congress to demonstrate what American-made medical imaging technology can do to close the detection gap and identify respiratory pathogens of pandemic potential, fast. In clinics, at the frontlines, and at scale.

Alongside our many valued partners, we are there to continue to make the case for sustained, ambitious U.S. investment in TB elimination and global health security — and to show, not just tell, what that investment can look like in practice: Portable; AI-powered; Deployable anywhere in the world; and making lifesaving impact.

America's global health leadership isn't just a moral commitment; it's a strategic one. MinXray is proud to be an American company delivering on that promise, in 80+ countries, every day.

A sincere thank you to the colleagues who made this visit possible and meaningful:

🤝 Allison Cantrell and the House Committee on Foreign Affairs for their leadership and openness to this conversation. 🤝 U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) and team for inviting us to participate in their Impact Forum🤝 Results Educational Fund — and colleagues Colin Puzo Smith and Crickett Nicovich — for their tireless advocacy to end poverty and for championing the tools and solutions that support the effort. 🤝 Dara Kelleher and the Qure.ai team for joining us on the Hill and being a valued partner

The work continues. 🌍

5 Reasons to consider the MS-V for your MinXray TR90BH and TR90B units:

1 - Improved Safety and Ergonomics: The MS-V reduces back strain for the operator and decreases exposure to scatter radiation.

2 - X-ray Unit Stability During Positioning: The stands allow for precise, versatile positioning at any angle or height, which ensures clearer, consistent and more accurate images.

3 - Superior Mobility and Versatility: The MS-V is designed to be lightweight and easy to transport, making it ideal for use in various settings, including small clinics, larger hospitals or remote locations.

4 - Workflow Efficiency: Quick setup and the ability to maneuver around patients (whether seated, lying down, or standing) significantly speeds up the imaging process.

5 - Patient Comfort and Safety: Bringing the imaging equipment to the patient minimizes the need for painful, uncomfortable or dangerous movement.

The MS-V provides a portable stand for MinXray's TR90B and TR90BH units only. The MS-V is compact, less than 30 lbs (13.6 kg), and is easily transported.

New research from UCL and Centre for Infectious Diseases Research in Africa (CIDRI-Africa) highlights the potential of advanced imaging tools, including AI-read chest X-rays, to detect earlier and strengthen screening efforts.

As Professor Robert J. Wilkinson notes, these tools “could play a vital role in strengthening TB control strategies through mass-screening efforts.”

At MinXray, we see how this plays out in practice. Ultraportable X-ray systems bring high-quality imaging closer to the point of care, making earlier detection more feasible, even in remote settings.
