Big things are happening at Backus! 🫀

We're proud to announce the opening of our new state-of-the-art surgical cardiac catheterization lab, bringing advanced cardiovascular care closer to home for eastern Connecticut. This upgraded space expands access to minimally invasive procedures, advanced diagnostic testing, cardiac ablations, vascular interventions, and more.

For 25 years, Backus has continually grown its cardiac services, and this new lab marks the next chapter in delivering exceptional heart and vascular care to our community.

Our newly renovated Cardiac Catheterization Lab is designed to do it all, from diagnostic heart procedures and pacemaker implants to advanced electrophysiology procedures and AFib ablations.
