Shout out to one of the shining stars here at Healthy Kids Pediatrics, Sophia DeRay! Sophia was selected to receive a Sponsor Award at the Hudson County STEM Showcase for her outstanding project called “Diet, The Mind and Body” Her project focused on the impacts that diet can have on your body both physically and mentally. This special recognition is presented by community partners and organizations to recognize students whose projects demonstrate exceptional creativity, scientific thinking, and real-world impact. Sophia was also invited to the 2026 Celebrate Life Luncheon where she received a V.I.P Award for being a “Very Inspirational Person” by Dr. Jill. Way to go, Sophia! –HKP
