South Routt Medical Center is hosting a Community Vaccine Clinic in Yampa on Friday, October 2nd from 8:00–10:00 AM at Crossan’s/Town Hall.

With the clinic happening on a Friday, it’s a great opportunity for local students and families to access important vaccines with a little more flexibility around the school week.

Please bring your insurance card if you have one. Vaccines will also be available for uninsured community members. Please reach out with any questions!

Women’s health matters at every age and every stage, and we’re excited to be part of a day dedicated to making it a priority!

South Routt Medical is proud to share that Dr. Barbara Novotny has been invited to speak at Healthy Her: Yampa Valley Women’s Health Forum on September 24.

This FREE community event is all about empowering women with the knowledge, resources, and connections they need to take charge of their health. The day will feature expert speakers, free health screenings, community resources, and lunch.

‼️ As we continue through wildfire season and other potential emergencies, South Routt Medical Center encourages all residents to take a few simple steps now to prepare for unexpected events.

Having an emergency plan in place can help protect you and your loved ones when every minute counts.

✔ Know your evacuation zone and local evacuation routes
✔ Keep an updated list of medications and medical conditions
✔ Have at least a week’s supply of prescription medications when possible
✔ If you use oxygen or other medical equipment, have a backup plan and emergency contacts ready
✔ Save important phone numbers, including healthcare providers, pharmacies, family members, and emergency services
✔ Monitor air quality conditions, especially if you have asthma, COPD, heart disease, or other respiratory concerns
✔ Prepare an emergency kit with medications, medical supplies, water, food, and important documents

Take a few minutes today to make a plan for yourself and your family. Then think about a neighbor who may need a little extra help during an emergency. A phone call, a visit, or a shared plan can provide peace of mind and strengthen the connections that make South Routt such a special place to call home.
