🚨New Workshop Alert🚨

FRUIT W**E MAKING WORKSHOP
Thursday 11/5 at 6pm

We’re getting wild and feral with Feral Ecology!

Transform foraged and backyard fruit into delicious wild-fermented w**es and ciders! Fall fruits like apples, pears, feijoas (also known as pineapple guavas) and late-summer blackberries lead to delicious, complex autumnal w**es and ciders. This hands-on workshop skips the industrial additives, synthetic chemicals, & cloned commercial yeasts. Instead, you will learn to harness the invisible, native microbiomes already living on fruit skins to guide safe and vibrant wild fermentations.

Learn how to turn any seasonal fruit, herbs, and wild ingredients into delicious handcrafted natural w**es. We’ll dive into the fundamentals of alcoholic fermentation and explore every stage of the w**emaking process — from cultivating wild yeast and preparing the must, to fermentation, aging, and bottling. As part of this hands-on workshop, each student will take home a jar of actively fermenting w**e.
