This past Saturday, TGH Imaging team members came together for the American Cancer Society American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Tampa, raising funds, walking with purpose and supporting a cause that means so much to us.

This week’s Empower in Pink event brought together inspiring women to connect, learn, and lift one another up.

We’re so proud of Denise Vander Werf, VP of Enterprise Imaging who is the Executive Sponsor of the Tampa General Hospital Women’s Network, and the work she’s doing alongside the network’s dedicated leaders and members to bring its mission to life.

A special shoutout to Alexa Stinnette, Director of Women’s Imaging, who shared valuable insights on women’s health and breast care in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This past Saturday, our community came together for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Tampa Walk to End Alzheimer’s, united by a shared hope for a future without this devastating disease. 💜

Our own Sherri Lewman, SVP of Enterprise Imaging, joined Dr. Amanda Smith, Director of Clinical Research at the USF Health Byrd Alzheimer’s Institute, to kick off the opening ceremonies. They spoke from the heart about the firsthand experience of watching someone you love suffer from Alzheimer’s, while also shining a light on the research and innovation underway at TGH and USF.

It was a powerful reminder of why we walk: for the people and families navigating Alzheimer’s today, for those we’ve lost, and for the hope that continued research will bring us closer to better treatments and, ultimately, an end to this disease.

Proud to see our team and our Tampa Bay community showing up for such an important cause. 💜

The American Cancer Society’s Big Pink Chair made a special appearance at Tampa General Hospital to help us rally support for the Tampa Bay Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October 24! 💗

Introducing the new GE SIGNA™ Premier Evo 3T MRI at TGH Imaging USF Health Morsani Center. Our technologists and operations team worked exceptionally hard to make this project happen and are excited to bring 3T MRI technology to the local community in an outpatient setting.
