I think we need a little more of this right now. ❤️

I’ve been thinking about something.

Cancer doesn’t only change the life of the person who receives the diagnosis.

It quietly changes everyone who loves them.

Families.

Friends.

Caregivers.

Children.

Spouses.

Sometimes we think love is knowing exactly what to say.

I’ve learned…

love often looks much simpler than that.

It looks like showing up.

Sitting quietly.

Driving to appointments.

Making dinner.

Holding a hand.

Staying…

when life gets hard.

If this reminds you of someone…

tell them today.

We can’t do this trip alone.

👊😎 Peace.

Sometimes we spend so much time becoming who we think everyone wants us to be…

that we forget to ask ourselves one simple question.

How you been?

If this spoke to you, I’d love to hear what resonated.

I’ve been thinking about this lately…

We spend so much of life trying to become someone people will notice.

Then one day we look back and realize the people who changed our lives weren’t trying to be noticed at all.

Long after their words are forgotten…

the feeling remains.

Maybe we’ve believed the wrong definition of significance.

A healthier me helps create a healthier us.

One of the most difficult parts of healing isn’t letting go of the behavior.

It’s letting go of the version of ourselves that believed it was the only way to survive.

That doesn’t mean those parts of us were failures.

It means they carried us until we could find a healthier way.

Maybe healing isn’t about becoming someone new.

Maybe it’s about honoring who got us here while choosing who carries us forward.

I’m Your Bearded Cheerleader.

Peace.

Maybe we’ve been measuring healing all wrong.

I’d love to hear what you think. ❤️

07/23/2026

After a lot of years sitting with people, here’s something I’ve come to believe…

Healing isn’t only about feeling better.

It’s also about becoming someone who makes life better for the people who share life with us.

If our healing makes us more patient…
more compassionate…
more willing to listen…
more willing to forgive…

then it reaches beyond us.

Maybe that’s how a healthier me helps create a healthier us.

Sometimes all it takes… is looking again. 👀

07/22/2026

One thing I’ve learned after decades of sitting with people is this: The people who keep growing aren’t the ones who always have the right answers. They’re the ones who never stop being willing to look again. I think the world could use more of that.

07/22/2026

Sometimes…
the light doesn’t get in…

because we’re convinced…
we already have all the answers.

Maybe…
the greatest gift we can give one another…
isn’t certainty.

Maybe it’s enough humility…

to listen.

To ask.

To learn.

Because every time we leave room… for the light…

we leave room…
for each other.

Let’s give each other room to grow.

We can’t do this alone.

I’m your Bearded Cheerleader.

Peace ✌️😎
