Today, we recognize World Su***de Prevention Day. More than 720,000 people die due to su***de every year. We must continue to change the narrative on su***de. We can do that by shifting from a culture of silence and stigma to one of openness, understanding, empathy and support. By continuing to bring individuals, organizations, communities and governments together for open honest discussions - we can make a difference and save lives. It starts with a conversation. It can start with you. Reach out to someone today. Ask how they're doing, listen without judgment, and let them know you care. Yesterday our HELM Team volunteered at Eartha’s Farm and Market. Located in Jacksonville, FL. Eartha's Farm & Market is an initiative of the Clara White Mission that works on increasing food security and serves in desert communities.
