Yara M. Caraballo Vicente is a dedicated Social Worker with more than 16 years of experience serving, supporting, and empowering individuals, children, and families. Since earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2006, she has built a career founded on compassion, advocacy, and a commitment to improving the lives of those facing personal and social challenges.
Throughout her professional journey, Yara had the opportunity to serve with the Department of Family Services within the Investigations Unit, where she gained extensive experience in crisis intervention, family protection, case assessment, and support services for vulnerable populations. This role strengthened her ability to provide guidance, advocacy, and effective interventions while helping families navigate difficult circumstances.
Committed to continuous professional growth, Yara is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work, further expanding her expertise in mental health and therapeutic interventions. In addition, she is a certified Health and Wellness Neurocoach, Laughter Therapist, and Motivational Speaker. Through these specialties, she incorporates holistic and strength-based approaches that promote emotional wellness, resilience, personal growth, and overall well-being.
For the past eight years, Yara has specialized in Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) services, helping individuals develop essential life skills, increase independence, overcome daily challenges, and enhance their quality of life. Her work focuses on empowering clients to recognize their strengths, build confidence, and achieve meaningful personal goals.
For Yara, Social Work is more than a profession—it is a calling. She is passionate about helping others discover their potential, navigate life transitions, and create positive change.
