Upcoming Events
Hard to believe summer is over and we are headed into colder months! With that brings lots of Holiday festivities. Here are a few events to put on your calendars:
• Trick or Treat – Saturday, October 31st from 10 am to 11 am. Bring the children dressed in costume for some safe trick or treating. We will have residents gathered in each neighborhood (in the living room on both sides of each unit). They love seeing all the kids dressed in costume. We will need donations of individually wrapped candy in order to have this event.
• Craft Fair – Saturday, November 21st from 9 am to 2 pm. Come and shop and support the MVC Recreation Fund while doing so. Tables are available to rent ($25 for large and $15 for small). Please reach out to Susan Pelletier at [email protected] if interested!
• Holiday Meal – Wednesday, December 9th. This will be a holiday celebration for residents and guests. We are not accepting RSVP’s yet, but stay tuned and mark your calendars. More info coming.
Request for Help!
As we are planning for Veteran’s Day, we are looking for a connection to a local Boy Scout troop. If anyone has children or grandchildren in Boy Scouts and has contact information for the troop leader, please reach out to Susan Pelletier.

It's that time of year for open enrollment for Medicare. I am available for any questions that you may have. Here is some basic information for you:
1. If your loved one is currently enrolled in traditional Medicare, we ask that you make no changes.
2. If your loved one is enrolled with insurance acting as their Medicare (ex: United Health Care, Healthsprings, Aetna, BCBS) and you would like to make changes, please reach out to me to help you through that.
3. One change happening for sure, if you have someone enrolled in Part D with Aetna Silverscript, this will no longer be available in New Hampshire. I have received notices for several people on this and will be making those changes accordingly. If you get one in your mail, you may make the change yourself or call me to set an appointment to do it for you.
4. Part A - Not finalized but the projected hospital deductible is $1788, coinsurance days 61-90 $447/day, nursing facility coinsurance days 21-100 $223.50
5. Part B - the projected deductible is between $292 - $310, monthly premium is $209.50
6. Part D - deductible $700, premiums vary
If any changes are made and/or new cards are received please bring us a copy. Please bring us a copy of all insurance premiums for 2027 if your loved one is on Medicaid, or if we pay any premiums for you out of the patient trust account.
On a separate note, we are aware of a current "Social Security" SCAM. The number 800-997-9540 is showing up as a call from Social Security. Do Not Answer or call back, Do Not Provide information.
