Nick Hanks once planned his own funeral. Today, he is a Recovery Coach at White Horse, committed to working with high schools to make sure no one follows the path he did.

In December 2022, doctors diagnosed Nick with end-stage liver failure. He got sober on January 5, 2023. On November 12, 2023, he underwent liver transplant surgery, which saved his life.

Now, as a Recovery Coach at White Horse Recovery, Nick is helping to build a platform for prevention, education, and peer support in Mount Washington Valley.
